I actually think I did something very much like that with my Karen build. She had some dps (because pure tank doesnt work) but otherwise as the episodes progressed she just became more and more tanky!
I think there are two bugs in the current game worth mentioning: (1) looks like wizards get nowhere near enough essence. Created a new charatcer eith several points into stamina and had less than 40 essence. It has to be a bug or mistake. (2) I believe there's a bug when selling items if you have two with the same name. I just had an experience like yours where I bought an uncommon item... went to sell the normal item and double checked before hitting sell. And it sold my uncommon anyway. Also reading another person with the same issue on the steam forum.
I made a sonic immune Bard because you never have to go a single point in stamina due to the Aria of Respite--and so you never have to rest and reduce your defence by 50%. You just spec int and def whereas other builds would probably need three stats (warrior: attack, strength, agility, (def)). Since you don't rest, the vitality regen is useless and health is useless if you have defence (infinite health). The only worry is against other mages in which case you get 5 points in Lightning Protection and 15% spell hit chance debuff in mage tree (Fear of Wizards) (spoiler alert, combined with high defence you don't have to worry about mages anymore.) and you will always be able to cast spells. Only frost and necrotic spells feel useful, but take the others for dmg, except lightning, cause it does not disable other mages (which it absolutely should, idk why it only works one-sided). It can be a rough early start, but with 5-7 points in charisma (depending if you use the 'RAARGH' code) you should be able to taunt kill your fist enemies while kiting and get your first spells to start trucking. Later on, do not upgrade your spells, you get a negligible dmg boost but the essence cost is doubling each time (there is so much bait like spell upgrades, stamina, and vitality due to imbalance.) But yeah, the game is probably too trivial to try-hard like this...
I would like to point out we are pre-patch right now, once patch is back casters will need 3 stats as agi is cast hit chance!. Having said that, love the idea of a sonic immune bard caster! I love lightning immune casters also not gunna lie, but my next build was going to be a very high defense build! Excited to know it will already work out at least!
@@NottheWinnerGaming I can say that with the current patch, I have to re-evaluate my strategy. Everything I said flipped on its head right now. I found your videos not through your channel so I will check out your other videos like your tank build :) I also cannot wait to see the mage bosses that now cannot hit their spells because they have no agility or attack :)
@@alexanderhansen3344 I will tell ya this, the bosses still land their spells with 0 issues :P I initially made my tank during the patch (before rollback) It works great early game, but fights start to take a very long time! I would say mage/sonic are probably still very OP, a tank can counter them though if you build it right! (I might need more defense lol)
I just started this game today and this was the same build I first tried couldn't even beat the second boss it got nerfed so hard I couldn't land enough spells to kill anything
Yeah you should check out some of my later builds since the patches! I woul suggest watching Karen (super tanky build) or BardorMage (Bard Mage hybrid for just about any situation)

@@NottheWinnerGaming Also, about the video length, I personally prefer these longer videos, though it may be better for you, views wise, to get three separate videos out of one, just cut it and post it in three parts like one hour apart from each other, if you wanna maximize views.

Depends what you decide is hybrid. I would say a Warrior Mage could work now that Atk determines magic hit, but that is a lot of points in strength for little return in my opinion. Best thing you can potentially do is a very very tanky bard (which comes out this evening)
@@NottheWinnerGaming Yeah after rage quitting yesterday, i tried it again before i went to sleep and then i got him after like 13 tries, the 2nd champ was first try
Could you try a full hp and armor/defense build? I think it would be hilarious to see someone play with the largest and tankiest character possible

Wizard bug was fixed this morning, sell bug is also fixed :) (According to Dev at least, I am testing things today)
Great video! I am glad i found out about this channel. Also i love those detailed long videos, they are really nice.
Thanks so much! I plan to bring out more long detailed videos moving forward! They are fun to make and people seem to enjoy them!

Bards also make for great Melee as their Guitar bases damage off Charisma, so you can still run insanely high charisma and use melee attacks!
Some sort of a Knight build?! pls
