This sounds familiar to me but I have no memory of The Black Dog. I'm guessing a lot of people have sampled these tracks over the years.

Not unlikely, and/or that you've heard samples from the same sources, I'm pretty sure the breakbeat on "The Weight" is from "Funky Drummer" by James Brown, one of the most sampled breaks ever. The sitar-like sound that can be heard in "Virtual", especially at the end, is from the first few seconds of "Tomorrow Never Knows" by the Beatles. "World world world / I sit in my room / imagine the future" is Allen Ginsberg reading from "Europe! Europe!" in "Howl & Other Poems", but we don't talk about that.
