🌸🥷🏼 Director Jose San 😍🙌🏼🤸🏼‍♀️🥰💐 good morning, amigo mio! That orchid is something else, like out of this world, something else! Incredible. BUT, if the bulbs are not going to cope with her trying to bloom, then... snip snip and we shall skip a year! I am curious to see what that little new growth is going to do. Happy that the orchid is trying to save the back end by growing a new lead 👍🏼 and I am going to do everything I can to make sure that it stands a chance at survival 😃 hope your day was fabYOUlous, my friend!! I appreciate you watching and leaving a comment 🫶🏼 I hope your Wednesday was beautiful and wish you the same for Thursday ❤️🌸

FFF 😍🙌🏼🤸🏼‍♀️🥰💐 good evening, meine liebe Freundin! It is the first time I am seeing back bulbs die back, and while I don't freak out when other orchids do this, I thought the question from the viewer was valid, because here I am with a first time scenario on a catasetum. I appreciate that you watched the video and left a comment, amiga mia! Despite the fact that you know the answers, your support is greatly appreciated 🙏🏼 obrigado 🫶🏼 hope your day was beautiful in every way 🫶🏼❤️🐾❤️🌸

Quite interesting video Nina. Usually with my minis by the time you see an issue, it's to late!! 😫 I've tried to be more attentive to them as many are not cheap! Hope you had a decent day, and I'll catch you later....👍🏻🐝

🦋🦇😍 You spoil me!! 😉 yes, the minis are very tough! I have not had any success with my loddigesii... curse them thrips! 🥲 Now, I have enough energy for possibly one more tiny growth, but if that one goes the same way as the previous ones, then ... sayonara loddigesii. As I have her out of the media, I tossed it, and have her painted with a coat of garlic alcohol, I am hoping that maybe we can make some progress next time around? My first bulb is the biggest one that she has, which is now dying back. Things were looking really good back then!! Thank you so much for watching 🫶🏼 my day was decent, thank you! I got another pain killer in me, so that I can get some sleep. Tomorrow is supposed to be cloudy, so there will be a lot of shuffling to do on the patio and I need my bones to behave! You have yourself a great rest of your day 🫶🏼❤️🌸

@@NinjaOrchids Please take it easy, don't overdo it... just move or shuffle the must do's, the rest it won't hurt them just 1 day!! Got the name of my new med, but now have to deal with insurance run around to get it covered, I have at least 30 days before it gets changed but it's like my current med that takes an act of God to get it covered!!! 😫

Hi Nina. A very informative video. Two of mine have yet to bloom, and one bloomed in spring. I usually cut the old roots and repot in late winter 🥶. This time I’m doing nothing to see if that will make a difference. Take care. 🥰👏❤️🌴

HI Shirley 😍💐 thank you so much for your feedback and for watching, lovely lady! I would probably do the same, but every 2 years, however, the cleaning of leca that has had catasetinae roots wrapped around it is the worst nightmare of all orchids! The velamen is like thin paper and sticks to the leca. Its a process, and even when I think that I did a good job before boiling, once I reuse that leca and it happens to be at the surface of a pot in another orchid, the white remnants are then visible. So, .... a bit of laziness on my part but also, the older roots stay alive if they are allowed a little water here and there, which is something I am hoping to make the orchid stronger for when the new growing season starts. Still baffled as to why my older bulbs did not plump up again, but ... maybe one day I will understand the reason 👍🏼 hope you wake up to a beautiful day, Shirley! Thank you for your support 🫶🏼❤️🌸

Hi 😍💐 she really is and it will be unfortunate if I have to cut the spikes off. It will be better for her long term, though 👍🏼 thank you so much for your comment, it is very encouraging and I appreciate that so much! Thank you, as well, for watching and commenting 🫶🏼 hope you are having a wonderful day ❤️🌸

My Catasetinae are terrible at holding on to old bulbs. Next year I am going to have to do something different with them I think because they are not doing as well as they should. Although, honestly, I lost my Rebecca Northen and that was my favorite and it really has just left me feeling meh about them as a result. I still have After Dark, I love the fragrance, but it is no Rebecca Northen. I suppose in the spring I'll have a think on what to do with them.

Don Miguel 🥰💐 hola jefe! Well, I hope that my After Dark is not starting to behave like your's 😬 learning something new, at least I hope that I am learning something new by this behavior this year. I was hunting for the Rebecca Northen when I was shopping for catasetinae. Could not find her and The Orchid Room had one, don't remember where she got it from, but either they were sold out or it came from Ecuagenera... not sure. Still, THAT would probably rank as my favorite as well. What an amazing orchid 😍 so, we are even... you are waiting for your Dinard to bloom, and I am envious of your Rebecca Northen! (I have a pet peeve, 🤫 seeing people write or pronounce Rebecca Northen as Rebecca NortheRn, as in the direction North🙄😆) that is me showing a little of my petty side! I am looking forward to the Betty Bo Beep blooms again 😆 thank you so much for watching, Michael! I hope that you had a fabulous Wednesday. 2 weeks until the Ryder Cup where we are going to get another golf lesson, but the venue is amazing! Should be fun 😄🫶🏼❤️🌸

Ti apprezzo molto. Spero che tu abbia passato uno splendido mercoledì 🫶🏼❤️🌸
