I like how 90% of the time, Mal's first reaction to interact with something is punch. I'd like to see Night Trap, if you have it. I hear it's somewhat well known, plus there was news about a remake last year.
But...Link's intelligence is pretty much determined by the intelligence of the player, as Link has no characteristics aside from being courageous and being good at everything.

johnny mnuemonic was an interesting game. it came before this game. i barely played it because within the first 15 minutes of the game you reach a scene that looks like a fight scene. when i was playing it my computer wasn't 100% good enough to play the game so when i pressed the attack buttons and kept on dying i thought it was because my underpowered pc was causing enough of a lag that i couldn't beat the fight scene. i gave up for years and when i finally came back to it i figured out it wasn't a fight scene and i was supposed to turn and run away. unfortunately by then the disc was old and scratched enough to i couldn't play much further than that. the reason why i bring it up in this video is this game is what got me interested in going back and giving johnny another chance. at first i didn't think i had ever played this game until the guy comes in through the window and i totally remembered that.
Joshua Fraim one thing that makes johnny mnuemonic unique is that it uses completely different actors than the movie and the story isn't exactly the same as the movie.
Please do more, FMV's are amazing! Side note, if you ever get a chance, think this could be finished? Another side note, Dragon's Lair, so there's at the very least one good one.

I figure with the increase in memory of the discs compared to CD-roms(what the PS1 used) If they could do higher quality videos and shoot more things for the story.Though DLC would be hard to do.
...I think all game developers in their right minds stay away from this, but as a film student that is studying games I am honestly hoping to make a modern FMV, even if it's just for fun. I think the problem usually comes in trying to give the player enough choices to stay interested. Coding dialogue and choice trees is terrible.

Yeah, ever since Markiplier started doing choose your own adventure and mystery videos I've been thinking about how simple you could make an FMV and it still have some really interesting choices/outcomes.
