I ❤ your tutorial. I am 71 yrs old too! But I haven't practiced for years. I haven't tried reading the sheet notes, just watching your videos I started practicing the 1st 2 steps and got that down pretty well. But then I stopped practicing for a long while. Starting steps 3 & 4. Not as easy. I also began learning the guitar a long time ago,but stopped. Haven't started again yet,as it's harder, but my guitar teacher, says practice, practice, practice. 😅

Great tutorial for a beautiful piece of music. Your version did it justice. As a retired person, I wish I had learned how to play the piano when I was younger......your lesson and my practicing almost it has it down complete. Thank you for taking the time to put it together.
Have now learned all the components and trying to raise my skill levels. Still playing a little too slow, just can't get up to speed without tripping over along the way. This and fur Elise are my two main learning tunes.
Hi Alison, I got through the beginning parts hands together in about 2 weeks. (Half an hour or so everyday). Then came bars 25 to 32. A lot of work you said! Slight understatement on your part I think! L/H no problem, R/H harder than it looks. Then hands together, frustration upon frustration!!!!! Until I decided to try hands together following your counting, 1 2&3 4& etc. someone switched a light on in this old brain of mine, (I’m 73). I guess that’s why you are such a good teacher. You just need to say, LISTEN TO ME! WATCH WHAT I’M DOING! YOU CAN”T DO THIS ALONE! TRUST ME! Short of smacking me across the back of my nut to get me to follow your lesson. Thanks, Ali Sparrow you are a genius..
Hahaha well, I can only show you the way, and then you have to actually do what I say. I'm glad you gave my system a shot and it worked for you. My name is Marina, though, not Alison. :)

This is of course a best channel of learning playing piano. The teacher is quite patient and lovely as well, I’m so lucky to find out her channel just couple of days ago, not too late anyway. I’ve started learning Rondo Alla Turca ( Turkish March). Thank you, Marina🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
Huge thanks for making such a scary piece so easy to learn. And your slow tender voice motivates and gives absolute beginners hope and belief that they certainly will work thus piece out in their individual ways. Awesome 🙏🙏🙏
Love this tutorial. Don't know if I've commented already but now that I have worked my way through all the sections I find I am really playing this and it's lovely. Still got some way to go before I've got it to how I want but I'm getting there. Lovely arrangement too.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS... I also see that you have one for Moonlight Sonata and I am very confident in the way that YOU teach I WILL learn both of these within the next month or two and that's having down the correct Melody and not just knowing what keys to hit. You are a great teacher your RUclips channel is the best and you definitely know how to teach piano lessons. "THANK YOU" 🌷🌹

I can play the entire piece now. But still slowly. How do I increase my right hand speed and still play my left hand slow & steady (4) count? Do I just continue to play over and over slowly increasing right hand speed? And listen to how you play it, over and over? Excellent tutorial. I really appreciate it :)
Thank you! First make sure that you can play each hand by itself at the tempo that you ultimately want to reach with both hands. Then, when you put the hands together, practice small sections, first very, very slowly, and increase the speed just a little bit at a time. Also, you should be doing technique exercises to improve your overall ability to control your hands and your fingers. Look on my channel in the technique playlist for exercises videos.
SUBCRIBE DONE. Thank for sharing, this tutorial is quit easy for beginner like me Looking many in RUclips and didnt get through until found this tutorial and I realy like and easy to follow🙏🙏🙏

Hi. Marina, this is a very old tutorial, i wonder if you came back to read the comments here and there. Any way, my brain is going AAAHHHH@#%HHHHHH , I practice a lot, toke me weeks for the first part and hours to understand the second , I believe R. hand is F"D E C" D B C"A B G A F " GB AC" . I am sure by end May 24 I will have both parts licks. I am 79 so is hard for me but I don"t think is a better way to keep your brain active. Thanks Marina , your tutorial are the best.

My grandaughter and I have been enjoying learning this version very much. Thank you for your creativity and clarity. How about dynamics? How can I teach my grand daughter to get more feeling into the notes, even just loud and soft changes? Thank you
I'm so glad you're studying this with your granddaughter! The way to get dynamics in the music is to use the weight of your arms - fall heavily if you want a bigger sound, lightly for a softer sound. Also, listen to lots of great pianists and talk to her about what sorts of things she hears them doing that make the music interesting to listen to.
Thank you so much for posting this, I know it's a relatively simple arrangement of this great classic, but it's still beautiful. I've learned it totally and even expanded it a little by repeating a couple of the sections and it, thanks to you, has enriched my life immensely. I'm so grateful you took the time to share this. Kind regards.
Love this piece and can't thank you enough for putting up this tutorial. Now 10 weeks into playing piano and this is one of my practice pieces along with Fur Elise.
Hi, I love this tutorial! I knew nothing about playing the piano, and I can play this now after days of practising!!! Thank you!!! Can you have tutorials to show how to play Canon in D in intermediate, high and advance levels developed based on this tutoria, please~!!!
Thank you so much for this tutorial!!! It has been so enjoyable learning this piece and you explain it so well. I never thought i'd be able to play the more complicated parts of this however it's only taken a few days and I can play it almost as well as you! I'm so glad I found this video, thank you again.
Thank you Marina. I learned Bach's Prelude in C from your other tutorial and it was really easy to follow. Might try this one next. I really appreciate your hard work.
I love your lessons. The have made it possible for me to play both hands at once as I have been trying unsuccessfully to do for about sixty years. The sheet music would really help because my short-term memory has deteriorated in that time, but I can’t find it. The #sheet music takes me to other sheet music, but not your arrangement of this piece. Please help.
I've watch many tutorials and have subscribed some, no doubt they were indeed great and helpful. But you... i thought you are the best of them. But for now all i can say is "thank you soo much" and now let me hit that red and bell icon..
Very good lessons !! im a beginner is there any exercises i can do to stretch my fingers for flexibility sometimes i miss my key on a stretch and hit the closer key if you know what i mean, love your playing ! , by any chance would you be able to do lessons on Color my world by Chicago in the future Thanks
I will be putting up an exercise video that addresses stretching and accuracy in the next couple of weeks. Make sure you practice with it on a consistent basis. Also, try practicing slower to improve your accuracy. I love Chicago, I'll put Color My World on my list.
I am extremely enjoying your easy piano tutorials. Finally, I think I'm on the right track. Thank you so much (also for providing a music sheet)! I love your sweet, friendly voice, by the way! Also, you are so charming and beautiful. :)

Hi, I love this tutorial! I knew nothing about playing the piano, and I can play this now after days of practising!!! Thank you!!! Can you have tutorials to show how to play Canon in D in intermediate, high and advance levels developed based on this tutoria, please~!!!
I'm so glad you found it helpful! I don't have any plans to make more Canon in D videos. 😊
Thank you so much for this tutorial!!! It has been so enjoyable learning this piece and you explain it so well. I never thought i'd be able to play the more complicated parts of this however it's only taken a few days and I can play it almost as well as you! I'm so glad I found this video, thank you again.
Wow, that's fabulous! You're welcome!

Thank you Marina. I learned Bach's Prelude in C from your other tutorial and it was really easy to follow. Might try this one next. I really appreciate your hard work.
That's wonderful!
thanks
I do not speak english very well, but thanks for your explanation, muchas gracias.
You're very welcome!
If you click on the sheet music link, you will be taken to my version.
You beautiful!!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you!!
This is amazing! Thank you so much for sharing this. It's exactly what I've been looking for. :)

I've watch many tutorials and have subscribed some, no doubt they were indeed great and helpful. But you... i thought you are the best of them.
But for now all i can say is "thank you soo much" and now let me hit that red and bell icon..
Awesome!!! Thanks so much!
You are most welcome.
Looking forward to learn more from you...
GOOD IDEA..
OH GOD, I LOVE THAT SONG.
So helpful and so clear.
Thank you!
I am extremely enjoying your easy piano tutorials. Finally, I think I'm on the right track. Thank you so much (also for providing a music sheet)! I love your sweet, friendly voice, by the way! Also, you are so charming and beautiful. :)
Wow, thank you so much for your kind words. I'm glad that you're enjoying playing the piano.
