This was just one movie. Main reason being is because I personally have never made a machinima short film before, and I wanted to challenge myself with writing a short story and all that. Honestly writing a full fledged series is much more fun, but I learned so many new editing tricks thanks to this
This was Amazing. This was a 40 Minute Video, but that time went by so fast. I wish it could only go on longer, but that's that cards we dealt. Extraction is one of the best Projects of The Perfect Soldiers Franchise. This had so much Character Development, and Ideas brought to the Screen, such as the Animation by Buck, a great addition and something I'm really hyped about for future projects. AND THE SOUNDTRACK! Aaron Weatherford is Amazing! Can't wait to listen to the Complete Soundtrack. I'm glad I was apart of this, even if I body Acted a Single scene, as well has having one line in there as an Extra. This was so COOL! Have to say Lazy Bunch Productions, you're my favorite Machinima Content Creator. Can't wait for the next Entry! Edit: I also may or may not might be editing a Montage thing again, but just for Extraction.
Dude thank you so so much for this awesome comment!! Waking up to critiques like this always get me pumped and inspired to create more. Thank you for your kindness! Also, thank you so much for helping us and being involved! Even if you only helped in one scene, and only voice acted a few extra lines, it still means a lot to me to have you with us! Your assistance truly matters! Thank you! And thank you for watching this entry and telling me you enjoyed it 😄 Im so glad you liked it! A lot of people wish there was more (as do I) but we’ve utilized Halo 4 to it’s max potential unfortunately. So hopefully our next entry will be just as interesting as these but in a different Halo game 😄
Honestly Im considering Halo 5 or Infinite. Considering our next show probably wont come out till next year, Im really hoping Forge for Infinite is amazing. Both games have pluses and minuses
Holy cow! I am still trying to recover! This was so perfectly executed, I wanna see the continuation already! I love that this series has grown so far to this point, and it's so awesome to see these characters return for the next installment, along with the new team they gotta learn to work with. I'm also liking how you give these new characters depth, it doesn't feel hollow, it feels like Reynolds' last squad and how we got to know them and how they work. I was asking myself when this was set since Delilah was still active, but then the footage at the end came on and I literally cheered, like holy hell this was at the same time!? I love it! And it's awesome to see how this might affect Reynolds' side of things. And man I still love the interrogation scene, one of my favorite animations I've done of all time, and Aaron's score really completed it towards the end. Serious props to Anderson's and Harvey's voice actors, really was amazing to work with their voices, but also to see how it comes to life. And something I noticed, did you keep one side of Harvey's helmet hidden to hide the mark on his visor? I'm gonna assume so cos that was seriously clever. I was asking myself if Harvey was gonna be back to normal once back in machinima form. Also "This is a private channel, it's just you and me on here"... this is giving me serious flashbacks and red flags, can't help but be reminded of the last person Reynolds' talked to with that line... I'll just let my theory rest here... The design of Anderson's last facility was absolutely fantastic! I remember seeing the image of it and thinking it looks like 343 actually made it. It's incredible what you can do in forge, and I seriously can't wait to see more designs in future, you got an eye for architecture! On a weirdly specific note, I loved the sound design of the wraith when Reynolds is pinned down chasing Anderson. Gave me some weird chills, sorta like those war movies when explosives concuss people. I absolutely loved it, I felt dread for Reynolds, just wondering if he'll really make it out unscathed. Another case of sound design I loved was the footsteps in the hallways. I got shivers at some point, just wondering when they'd strike. The lighting for that was also fantastic, love how claustrophobic that was, really started to worry for Reynolds. My only complaint? I really wanted more! Watching this kept making me feel like there had to be another 30 minutes since I wanted to see so much happen, but the ending more than made up for that. And if the next installment is what I think it is, I can not wait. This is all building to something, and I can't wait to see how it pans out.
Dude thank you so much for such an amazing comment!! You really are too kind! 😄 But I gotta be honest, that interrogation scene really stole the show. ITS SO FANTASTIC! You did such an amazing job on it! Like seriously, when me, Cannon, Javalin, and Aaron first saw it we all were left speechless. It is such an amazing powerful scene and you made it perfect! Sucks that we couldn’t get that other scene animated but I really had fun with those tight spaced hallways lol Honestly with lighting I was not expecting for it to come out so red, but after doing sample tests with it I was like “this is way too saturated but it works!” So it was just one of those happy accidents lol As for the forging, thank you so much! That map was a ton of fun to make but I really wished some of it was functional. Like the crane wouldve been awesome if it could move!! But maybe one day when I can make something like that in Infinite lol 😂 Thank you for mentioning the sound design thing! Because I was driving myself nuts with it this time around. Like typically I do pay good attention to sound, but this time around I really pushed myself to perfect it! I was still getting sounds like 24 hours ago lol I just wanted everything to fit perfectly in every scene I think I covered all your points lol 😂 But thank you so much!! I wish it was longer too but unfortunately we’re reaching the point in Halo 4 where we cant use the game anymore. We actually did talk about just making a full Lone Wolves season 2, but we kept reaching so many roadblocks with the writing (mainly because we’ve used every map already lol 😂) But thank you so much for being a part of this! We really couldn’t have made this awesome film without you! Thank you 😊
Well crafted and solid editing. I have grievances with some writing, voice acting, body acting; Mainly corniness and rehashed plot from the previous entry but continue to practice and these things will iron themselves out over time. Don't be afraid to reach out to others outside your group for improvement suggestions. We're all here to push each other to make better films.

So we’ll have more for you to enjoy 😄 We also have our other machinima shows in case you missed those

It was so good and are voice acting and playing but still its a good work and a good movie and the people you work with are the best and again its a good movie and a good work i realy love it👍

Thank you so so much Toby! It’s always a pleasure collabing with you! Thank you for being a trooper through this project! Doing a short film like this is much more strenuous than doing a series, and I learned a lot of lessons throughout this. Im glad you were able to return as Reynolds and give us some of the best scenes in our franchise to date!! Thank you for always being there for us!! 😄
I thought this was going to be a series not a MOVIE! but still good as always also may we get idea on what the next show or movie in the perfect soldier universe is going to be about?
Thank you! Yeah you’re not the only one to think that lol Ive never made a machinima short film before, so I wanted to challenge myself with writing a shorter story and faster editing. Needless to say, I learned a lot about pacing with this project!
Lol 😂 Yeahhh sorry bout that haha Honestly at one point we were debating on making a full season 2, but unfortunately we’ve utilized Halo 4 to it’s full potential. There’s really no where else we can without revisiting a map (which is the problem we started to have in Reclaimer lol)
Your action scenes have improved dramatically, and Anderson’s VA still stands as the best cast member! Thanks for having me and Alyssa in this! Oh, and major kudos to your composer as well!

@@redlightning6914 That’s awesome!! If you’re interested you should definitely give it a try! And honestly there’s not many tips I can give other than just try it out and practice making something lol There’s a lot of ways to go about making a machinima, whether it be through console or PC. As for some of the smaller details, like finding voice actors and body actors (people who play the game with you) there are Discord servers and Reddit groups out there devoted to helping people connect and form teams. There is one tip I can provide though, just know your first project is not going to be revolutionary. Do a practice run. Whether it be a mini series or a Short, just practice making something so you can find your rhythm and process. Extraction, a bit slow but I'm not complaining I can't decide if this is better than lone wolves or it's on the same level as it either way 10/10 Also are you considering making this into a trilogy? AKA making a third entry
Thank you for the honest comment! It was our first time making a short film (something under an hour but also not being like a 10-minute youtube short film), so we had a lot to learn about pacing and story structure with this. But I definitely agree, faster paced would’ve improved certain scenes 😁 Thank you for the 10/10 rating!! I wouldn’t blame you if you put the 2019 Lone Wolves above this one lol Yes!!
