- Leading up to the release of #NintendoSwitchSports I vowed to myself that I would reach A Rank in Chambara! After playing the game for a few days, choosing a weapon class to stick with, and training with it vigorously. I am finally happy to say that I accomplished the goal I set out to achieve. I reached the highest rank in the game (also known as A Rank) just as I promised. I like chambara a lot because i love how the 3 swords are good and that you have to anticipate the enemy with a parry it is very tactical and good

Whenever I play Chambara on Nintendo Switch Sports globally, there’s always gotta be the "Spam hit/block" players. I honestly don’t know how to beat them lol cause every block I make they somehow hit. I’m currently rank D and still have no clue on how to get to Rank A. Nice vid btw! You can break through blocks if you hit down the middle (middle of the sword when they block
Awesome video. When I first started I saw the loading screen tip about 'perfect block timing' and kept trying it with the normal sword, I switched to the charge sword later on and realised that only the charge sword has the fancy block knockback move; it's a fun but incredibly risky strategy
Thank You! It's funny how you mentioned you tried perfect blocking with the Basic Sword because I'm pretty sure I did the same thing when the game first came out. 😅 lol
I love chambara. I loved sword fighting on wii sports. I do have to admit. I have primarly been using charged sword but I will have to take a look into the duel sword. Seems to be a bit broken for the short amount of time it needs to charge. Wonder if they will change that in the future. WHO KNOWS... LETS ABUSE IT ;)
Yes! The sword fighting story mode on the Wii was awesome! I hope they bring something like that to Switch Sports through DLC. And yeah, I think they should probably nerf the dual blades at some point. Since right now they're pretty strong. 😅 The Charge Sword is good too though.

I kinda just gave up on chambara lol or I let my dad play it instead because he somehow knows how to deal with “wagglers” while I’ll be trying to actually play correctly and end up loosing everytime lol.
Sorta seems like the AI poses a challenge without being ridiculous.
Plus 90% of the time it’s flawed. I block vertically and they hit horizontally and yet they don’t get stunned and they land a hit ? And yet if they are blocking and I hit in the opposite direction, I get stunned. How is that fair?
Yeah, it does seem a bit finicky sometimes. I hope they add an update soon to improve the response for motion controls.
I don't have a Wii but im doing Chambara lessons IRL so that should count for something

Definitely! Chambara in my opinion is the best sport for grinding prizes since the matches can be so quick.

Can you drop from A rank? And what do the numbers represent? Great Video!
I'm not entirely sure how the Rank system works at the moment, but I do know that it's possible to drop from A Rank if you lose enough. Also, thanks for the support! :)
A39 is the max. Rank you can achieve. The bar just stops filling up

I'm not even in ranked, because everytime i play online its always people who spam hits and its never fun 🥺
I had the same thing happen to me on my way to A Rank. It was a little annoying at first, but I eventually got used to it and was able to defeat the type of players who played that way. I wouldn't give up on online play, even if it can be frustrating at times. You got it! 😁
I tried to play chambara against a powerhouse AI and it did not go well, I just don’t think I have the strategy
Oh no dude you got this! It just takes a little time and some practice. Just have fun playing and you'll get better as you go.

Yeah, it can definitely be difficult sometimes playing online against real people. I would recommend personally, if you aren't already, to try using either the Charge Sword or Twin Blades. They take some time to get used to, but I think it's worth it.
@@JaminGames_ Ive been trying the charge but, i cant see what they are doing so i cant block it. I think they are swiping low enough to where i cant really block low enough. Maybe?

Bowling is the easiest to get A rank. As long as you make it to the Semi finals you get some meter filled.

You lose WAY TOO MUCH bar when you lose in higher rank. I went from C+, All the way to 1 game away from B+, then with 5 loses in a row I'm 1 loss away from C+ again. 6 straight wins to rank up but only 2 to 3 loses to go back down. AAAAAHHH!!!
I feel you. It can be tough climbing all the way up to A Rank. Don't give up though! You got it! 😁
@@JaminGames_ oh never. I'm getting that Legend title before golf comes out. It was just annoying. I am A rank in bowling and tennis. B- in Chambara. And C+ in everything else currently
