A great time was had by all, and the tribute to Dave was met warmly.

its a true shame one of bolton wanderers and english football's true characters are sadly no longer with us, just watching one of the roadrunner videos and this guy was a true legend a true wanderers fan in every sense of the word. RIP dave you are sadly missed 10 years on.
I remember him on the away coaches after we got promoted back to the premier league in 01. An absolute gent and a legend, definitely from a different footballing era.
Those were the days, no corporate arses on seats, a father could afford to take his kids to a match, Burden atmosphere, players wanting to play for imo the greatest club in the world and Dave Higson Bolton through and through, all sadly gone now, makes me very emotional
