Hi Elaine, you did a great job on this video. So many people need to hear this. I’m sorry for your loss and I’m also sorry that you did not have a good experience with GriefShare. I am a facilitator with Griefshare at my church and have been doing it for a while but my partner and I have both lost our spouse. And you are so right… No one should lead a Griefshare group unless they have suffered the loss of a dear loved one. And, the Lord does make all the difference! ❤

@@MissKittyLover Thank you so much. I have a friend who went to a different Grief Share and she had a very positive experience with it. I think it was just I chose a poor group to get involved with. It’s been about eight years ago, so no harm done.

I have lost six family members in the span of less than three years including my husband, my brother and my father. I lost one of my cats in April and as a write this my oldest kitty is sitting on my lap and I anticipate having to put him to sleep soon (maybe even this week). I know anticipatory grief well and it is very hard on a person physically, mentally, and emotionally. All I can say is God carried me through all that caregiving knowing the outcomes. There was no way I had the strength in myself. God gave me supernatural strength. Your insight and advice is spot on. Blessings to you!

We learn by our experiences. Life goes on God says don't over think. Sounds good.

@@deniset3164 Life does go on, but grief does interrupt our normal flow. It’s very disruptive, both mentally and physically. So thankful for Gods promises in His word.

@OneBraveWoman I'm not diminishing grief, it's always there, I've reached rock bottom this year. Things are looking much better for me, but theres always that fear that Satan wants to keep us in. I'm expecting better days ahead with the grace of God. Amen Lord knows we all need it.

Hi Elaine, I thank you for making this video. I had requested you to do so. My husband has end stage pulmonary fibrosis along with pulmonary sarcoidosis and I am going through anticipatory grief. It is so very hard to watch your loved one declining. I so appreciate your sharing what you went through and I am looking forward to your upcoming video where you share more about your situation and Greg's illness. My husband's name is Greg too. We have been together over 42 years now and honestly Elaine, I can't imagine my life without him. I know as you said death is a part of life. But it is still hard to accept. My husband too is not open to have people see him. He has always been a very private person and it has been so hard for him to accept his decline. I am so sorry you lost your Greg at such a young age. I do pray for strength and wisdom to get through this but it is so hard. Thank you again Elaine. 💔❤💝 Geri

@@GeraldineFaust I am so sorry, Gerri! May the Lord be with you, sweet lady. Don’t rush the process. Grief is different for everyone and it takes many forms. Knowing what to expect seems to help with it somehow, in my opinion. Please try to get as much rest and peace as you can.🙏🙏🙏
