This channel designed to help you move forward with your life when you are in transition or grieving. I am a life coach, dedicated specifically to grief coaching and widow recovery. Part of the grief recovery process is laughter, and taking an interest in other things besides your grief. That's why this channel has makeup, fashion, wigs, interviews, and topics pertinent to women, especially women over 40-50 who may be facing an empty nest, loss of health, chemotherapy, loss of job and most importantly, loss of a loved one. I named my coaching practice Ninja Life Coaching because I believe I am a grief assassin. I encourage, suggest, and walk alongside my clients during their darkest hours. Please take a moment to like, share, and subscribe to my channel! Thank you!

Motivational Monday: The Woman At The Well
I loved this video. I got so many ideas, and I love you Elaine!
You're so sweet! Thank you!❤
Thanks for the information my wife passed away the 23rd of December and she's in the hospital for 4 months and I was there every day from morning till night and spend a lot of nights there and now everybody's telling me you think you're sitting in that chair I'm going to sit in this chair for as long as I feel like sitting in this chair I know they're saying it because they care and they love me but I still feel exhausted and it's nice to know it'll pass I feel like somebody amputated half my heart and I feel dead inside we was married 46 years and started going together when she was 13 and I was 14 I'm 64 years old for 50 years every plan I've had in my life has always included her never made any plan that was just for myself so I have to figure this out in my way it's good that there's channels out there like this that somewhat last people know what to expect
@@kvhvtke1935 I am so, so sorry for your loss. Grieving is a very personal thing, isn’t it? It’s different for everyone. If sitting in the chair brings you comfort, sit in the chair. Just don’t live in the chair, if you get my meaning. When you’re ready, you’ll know. May the Lord be with you.🙏
@OneBraveWoman thanks
Greetings Elaine! It's so good to see you! Have you tried watching your Anglican church online as well as searching for a closer church? Also, I find that using full spectrum daylight bulbs in my lamps helps with my mood indoors. Living in a basement must be difficult in some ways. By the way, I absolutely love your glasses! Love and blessings ♥️🙏
@@jeanjacobs9965 Hey, Jean! Then Anglican Church I attended doesn’t broadcast their services, but they do have a podcast of the sermons and I do listen to those. I actually changed to those daylight bulbs and that did make it brighter down here. I just needed to get out today, I think. I had mostly been inside for the last week, due to the weather. I spent the day thrifting and had lunch with a friend. The Bible study I was planning on attending had apparently cancelled due to cold weather. I am in a better frame of mind this evening, praise the Lord!
When I could get out of the house and go places, I enjoyed visiting new churches. I'd still be visiting if I could. As you quoted the song, "I still haven't found what I'm looking for." I'm not sure what I'm looking for still exists in my city. I'm going to start trying online sermons from churches I might not've ordinarily gone to otherwise. There are so many non-denominational churches, and denominations that I've never tried.
@@lego65100 me too. I am right there with you! I don’t mind visiting, but would love to find a home. Haven’t even come close to that yet, but I’m grateful for online sermons as well!
Is it normal or common that one does not grieve (cry) at the sudden death of a spouse?
@@arlenefisher4868 Sometimes the sudden death of a spouse comes as a shock that takes a while to process. There’s really no “normal” way to grieve. People grieve in many different ways. Some cry. Others do not. The relationship a person had with their spouse can also determine how they grieve. There are many, many factors that go into to the grieving process and everyone has a unique way of dealing with it. If you are the one who didn’t cry, don’t beat yourself up over it. That’s simply the way your mind, body and spirit processes the shock of death. And don’t let others make you feel bad because you didn’t cry. Grieve how you feel is right for you. Praying for you, dear one.🙏❤️
@ Thank you so much. I truly believe I’m experiencing God’s peace that surpasses all understanding in Christ Jesus.
Greetings Elaine! Oh my gosh, this means so much to me! I can't tell you how much I needed to hear this. Thank you Sister! Have fun with Ringo! Love and blessings ♥️🙏
@@jeanjacobs9965 Thank you so much, Jean! God really helped me with that! Love to you, sweet sister!
Greetings Elaine! Your makeup looks great. Maybe try wearing your wigs while your hair grows out? My hair is going through a really thin phase after another big shed, so I'm not feeling good about it right now. You never know, I might buzz it again! Love and blessings ♥️🙏 Oh, by the way, what is the name of that app?
@@jeanjacobs9965 Thank you, Jean! I am probably gonna do that. I’m thinking about ordering a half wig off Amazon. I don’t really need it, though, honestly, because I’ve got 30-40 wigs. I’m so sorry your hair is getting thin again. That is so frustrating. The name of the app is Medisafe. It’s a free app. Have a wonderful evening, my friend!❤️

Happy New Year Elaine! God bless you. I too, received a fit bit watch this year. Hoping it will help motivate. Me to move more and get my steps in. Wishing you well and God’s blessings for you and your family in 2025!
Happy New Year🎉 Grandchildren are such a blessing…I agree not having full responsibility for them makes it a more beautiful thing . I bought those puffy make up applicators at my local Walmart. Mine are pink and came in a plastic container, 6 for $2.97. I love them. I haven’t been able to wear eye makeup for about 20 years because I am very sensitive to it. I’ve tried hypoallergenic but it doesn’t make a difference I still get severe headaches from it. Thank you so much for your chats! ❤. I have a widowed friend that I recommend your channel too. 🥰
Happy New Year blessings to you!!

Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and had a joyous time with family. Thanks for inspiration, I am losing my sister to something for last 8 months, following her husbands passing, long story, don't know if it is dementia, mental illness, or what. Hi there, you mentioned puffy eyes and cataract surgery. Have you also suffered with very dry eyes as well? Thankyou
@@lindadainard7629 Yes, I have. I’m using drops for it.
@OneBraveWoman could you please share what drops you are using? I have chronic dry eye syndrome since my surgery. I find this so difficult to function at times. Thanks very much
@ Of course. I am using Systane. It’s over the counter, but please check with your doctor before trying them.
I am a stroke survivor and I question God every day.😢
Thank you for taking the time to make this video ❤ Girl I hear you about church!!! It’s so hard, either I love the preaching/teaching and don’t connect with the people or the reserve. We moved churches for my husband and now he stopped attending again. I’m praying about going back to our old church. Like you I’m not proceeding until He tells me too! I have known Anglicans in my life but recently was reintroduced by Trish Warren and her books. I like the prayers of the Compline. Excellent words on Peace!!!

@@mousee23 You’re welcome!
I loved the talk today. You really hit on some of the things that I'm struggling with in my own heart. My family is ALL over the place, in terms of religious beliefs. This time of the year, I dread get-togethers because discussion will get dicey and I'll have to go into a peaceful place in my head to avoid stress of VERY strong opinions. My immediate family is the most divided, but there's enough respect for each other, that we don't preach at each other. But that same division has made it hard for me to find a church home. My husband wants me to attend with him, but I don't agree at all with his beliefs. My illness has made it easy to say that I'll study here at home (since I rarely leave home due to weakness, etc). I know that the Lord is with me, as He is with my husband and both my sons. But there's a sadness, too. We end up just never talking about it, because it's easier that way.
This is Amy Pope, by the way. I just realized that the ID for my RUclips account was created by my younger son... so it's hard to tell it's me.
@@lego65100 Oh, Amy. I am so sorry to hear this, both about the family division and the church issue. One thing I know for sure…the Lord is with you, mighty warrior! Even though you and your husband may not agree doctrinally, it’s a blessing to know that he’s a believer. There’s at least some peace in that. My late husbands family were very opinionated people. My family was as well, so it was like oil and water when we would get the two families together. My family, however, knew how to graciously handle conflict, while Greg’s did not. I’m sorry you’re in that situation. I’ll pray for you, sweet friend! Love you bunches!
