We used to go camping, sometimes alone, sometimes with friends and we would have axes and machetes with us. Carrying them in the street no-one would even look. To my certain knowledge none of us shot or stabbed anyone. Were did we go wrong. Poor education and lack of discipline was obviously a contributing factor along with the massive import of alien cultures.

The UK has changed and knife carrying is quite normal it seems, Underfunding of the police, the prison service, probation services, massive immigration, massive unemployment, stifled wages, high tax -so people do what they have to do - couple that to useless politicians and so many quangos' representing the rights of the dross, with bubble headed lawyers not caring about doing the right thing but getting a scumbag off a charge in a way that generates the most money for them
So glad I left the uk and moved to the USA. People still have respect for each other here.

@@peterfraney7931 very little crime where I live. Peaceful, semi-rural, middle class America. People’s packages left on their door step and never touched, never heard of a burglary or robbery. People acknowledge each other with a “hello” or “good morning” and don’t shuffle along desperately trying to avoid eye contact. I along with many other have CCP so if there was ever a problem, we won’t he hapless victims as many are in the UK.

Peter should be in charge of the police he has the right attitude. They know that they can get way with it as the police are scared to intervene for fear of getting done themselves. Law needs changing so that knife crime is reported to police by hospitals

People reoffend because life in prison is more structured than outside they get a routine and 3 meals surrounded by friends more than they had on the outside so they end up institutionalised not rehabilitated so when they get released with nothing crime is the life they know and the only thing they have to fall back on
So how do we not have laws for our government to do there job of protecting us and if not its akin to commiting the crimes themselves

explain the alleged as he was seen committing the attack by witnesses, then it is not alleged,, they committed the crime.
