Nothing is genuine there, all fakes and first copies. Stores on Bangla Road have better quality, those adjacent to Bangla Road have lesser quality and cheaper rates.
1 baht is roughly 2.40 rupees so rough calculation that is that every time you see the price of something, it will 2.5 times in INR. For example, if something costs 100 baht, it will be ₹240-250 for us. But daily exchange rate keeps fluctuating for a few rupees. All exchange counters will have latest rate displayed in front.
It is 20 mins from Patong. If you are visiting Old Phuket Town (beautiful place, have made a separate video on it), Chillva will be on the way. It is a weekday night market so you can visit it after visiting everything else, while returning.
I did not buy gold so I cannot comment. I bought rings from Gems factory in 18k white gold and they are nice. I don’t know about the resale value here. I prefer buying gold from Dubai.
Apart from clothes is there anything else we should buy from Thailand while returning to india which is available only over there quality wise Toys for children Mobiles / electronic items Chocolates Etc as you suggest
@@vikeshshettyVSS Bags for women (local brands as well as knock offs), luggage, Shoes, footwear etc. I found some interesting chocolates (in interesting shapes) from the local Seven 11 stores that I had never seen in India. I just like to visit local stores and buy snacks that we don’t get here.
Sorry Aunty-ji but these are far from the best places to shop except Chillva. The best places to shop are: 1. Chillva Markets 2. Naka Markets 3. Rat u tit road.
Perfectly covered it all.
Is there a price difference or is it the same? (Rupees to baht)

Bargain can be done only in Chilva market or at Patong and Bangla street too?
Patong and Bangla road both. Chilva has extremely low prices and has mostly fixed prices.
