Rajesh Khanna may have chosen Kishore Kumar as his playback singer but it proved to be a regrettable mistake. Films such as Haathi Mere Saathi, Choti Bahu and Shehzada proved that it was Mohd Rafi's song that came out on top every time. It was a fact that Rajesh Khanna too had realised hence Mohd Rafi's songs for Rajesh Khanna near the end of his days.

@@homermontana2392 it seems that the only 1 living in an illusion is yourself. When we look at the films where Kishore Kumar has sung for Rajesh Khanna, there's no denying that they were great films. However when we look at the films where Mohd Rafi has sung for Rajesh Khanna, then those films are musical blockbusters. Even in those films with majority of Kishore Kumar songs the single songs of Mohd Raf have stood above the rest. Therefore for you to suggest that Kishore and Rajesh songs were magical then how would you describe Rafi and Rajesh's combination?
@@khalidgulzar1052 mohammed rafi/rajesh khanna combination was good but they didn't work that much together that they could create wonders also which movies were musical blockbusters with them together the only musical blockbusters were kishore kumar/rajesh khanna movies in which rafi saab might have a song and on a final note rafi saab is rafi saab there is no competition but you can't be that arrogant in thinking that he was the best voice for everyone while he sang great for everyone still there are some people who other voices suited better
@@homermontana2392 yes there were those actors that the voice of KK suited and Amitabh Bachchan is a typical example of that. However RK was not 1 of those actors as MD quite easily modulated his voice to suit the actors mannerisms that he was singing for. Hence today those films (Raaz, The Train, Aan Milo Sajna, Do Raste, Mehboob Ki Mehndi) with songs of Mohd Rafi are still remembered. Whereas the films of KK apart from the odd 1 or 2 (Safar) here and there have long been forgotten.
