I discovered Carl miner through Flat Pick Nation channel... I instantly fell in love with his playing and songs... He is amazing picker.... Just finished learning this spicy drive noodle..... Great tune... Thanx Carl 🙏🙏🙏 love from Nepal 🇳🇵🇳🇵
Been playing classical and flamenco for years. Saw this clip of Carl Miner and playing went straight out and got a Collings OM1AT baked and started studying steel string guitar. Maybe in 20 years I could play Spicy Drive Noodle at half his speed. I’ll tale it if each note is as clean and full as His are. Wow. Incredible.
whew...after hours and hours of sitting here replaying this video over and over I can finally say Iv'e successfully learned this piece. Tbh, it wasn't difficult in theory, it's just the little nuances that give it character. I'm working on tabs right now, although I don't know if I'll run into copyright issues since this is Carl's song.
Zack Jones Ok I uploaded it to Google Drive, so you should be able to see it. Feel free to add changes and stuff. docs.google.com/document/d/1kmzs95X7Cr8P-BpbaX_KLaWszukMU28p8G1cMNFxTC4/edit?usp=sharing
Man.. I have to give you Kudos... Moust people comment and claim to have tabs but not the time to share (meaning they actually cant play guitar and simply want a bit of attention) but geez... thanks! Awesome job. If I ever get this loaded in Tab Pro, I will send you a link and gladly give you the credit.
Hey... Any of y’all happen to catch where he hid that extra hand? By the way, if anyone’s interested in a Taylor Grand Auditorium, mine hit the market as of about 0:04 of 1:10 of this video...
Just finished learning this one! So much fun. Does anyone know what it's called? I tried "Spicy Noodles" but apparently that's an entirely different tune.
Haha It’s possible I’m either the only person who got that or I actually completely misread it.. Were you referring to Johnny Hiland’s tune “In your face” which is in drop D and has a number of similarities (although Hilands tune is wayy more in depth rhythmically and has dozens of interwoven parts + thematic variations throughout etc) but watching this that song came to mind for me as well

I watched this several times over the years - and I still am awed by Carl's execution.
This is my favorite guitar playing clip on youtube, I love the sound. This makes me want a CJ35.
Eric Moore: I have this same guitar, but for some reason it doesn't sound like that when I play it.
@@charlesjohnston5315 You and me both, brother.

Look up some of his other stuff!! Carl is flippin amazing. Most underground, underrated player of all-time.
@@zacharywilhelm5895 100% agree! Carl is phenomenal!

@@gr1887 Same. Amazing player!
Same and then saw him on the TNAG channel
Great playing from Carl, as usual. A tune he wrote, and I believe he calls it Spicy Drive Noodles.
Holy heck-fire, Carl!!! Still my all-time favorite player...🔥🙏🏼🔥
Clean and smooth playing. Bet you can make any guitar sound amazing
That second riff he plays is so good I can’t believe it
wonderfully executed beautiful piece and right to the point. sound also great
That might be one of the best sounding slope shoulder dreads i've ever heard.
I ABSOLUTE Love Bluegrass ..since i´ve own A Martin Guitar i´ve INSTANTLY Started with Bluegrass .
This is ...Phantastic Acoustic Playing ..
Great playing Carl love to hear you play a om1.
Oh what a relaxing playing style.👍
excellent .. from both parties: artist and instrument. thx for that
Very good composition, balance, and recording.
Fabulous playing. For those that asked, sounds like he is playing Hillbilly Shoes from Montgomery Gentry.

Any update on those tabs? I would LOVE to have a copy!
Well I don't have Guitar Pro or something, but I do have them written out by hand...Lol.
care to email a snapshot? I can even try to load it on guitar pro and give you credit for it
Would be so helpful. Trying to work it out myself.

My favorite Carl Miner Collings demo, and they're all excellent. I just noticed that they don't tell us the name of any of the tunes.
They are most likely originals
I think this one's called "Spicy Drive Noodles"
Amazing!
This guitar has the best tone of the dreds J-45 style bodies. Its a killer just sings and sings.
Anyone else watch it 10x in a row
I did.
:p
yep
Just wow !!
well done!!! Great!
Wow! CM, got to be one of the best players on you tube!
That is some sweetass pickin' wow
I wasn't expecting that.
Sweet j45
duo with Sierra Hull please !

Amazing. Is that drop d tuning?
Holy cow.
Played that like he had the Cab waiting for him out the front with
Meter running.
You gotta do a lot of wood shedding before you can do this level of wood shredding!
Does anyone know what song he is playing? Phenomenal player and phenomenal instrument.
Spicy drive noodles. No joke. That’s the actual name of the song
So much going on.....
Impressive
Fenomeno
🔵 sounds âlot like 'Spicy Drive Noodles' 🎸🐸🍀
what is the tunning here ?
Any idea of the tuning on this? Drop D? Anything else?
yes drop D
just learned that song!!!
me too. I'm still at 120 bpm clean though, need to get it up to 140 :)
yo tengo la tab original de este tema ...saludos desde argentina
Hi, do you still have it ? If yes, is it possible to share ? Thanks you :)
Hola, la tiene todavia ? Si es el caso, la puede enviar ? Muchas gracias :)

Sweet baby Jesus.

Never mind! It's called "Spicy Drive Noodles."
Wow.
What's the name of this song?
ok thats it! now i have to learn this song. Thanks Carl, i hate you lol
Sounds great to me! I don't care how 'overused' it is :)
What song is this?
Spicy Drive Noodles - Carl Miner
WTF did I just hear and see. Stop it Carl you're killing me.
I wish I could overuse this they way Carl Miner did! That's about all I care to say about that!
beautiful, but with an occasional buzz!
Poor video--his right and left hands were blurry the whole time! ;-)
did you listen to the music?
Just too fast
On this one a thumbs down just means your jealous 🤠
50K of all the views are mine - just sayin ;)
I can't do that; I know I can't.
Carl Miner is from Mars. This is ridiculous.
uh....tabs anyone? lol Jk great melody Carl.
your just being a tease haah xD
I posted this and then immediately decided to tab it out myself...ha ha
@@benw5669 tabs please

@@JasonWright-mc6dz Yeah, I thought there was an influence to Hiland and I love it! Rock on.
Thelionatays is not impressed.
Those headstocks are almost as ugly as Epiphones
Definitely sold his soul to the devil.... 😇
Oh yeah I want a Gibson copy(which this guitar is), and I want to pay a lot for it. What a scam.
Someone's chugging the play authentic kool-aid.
