Wow, what a history! While so many of the India dance world in India believe that the British were the main reason for the disappearance of dance - though there are many know the other real history that’s well hidden for reasons to protect their own. Placing the blame on an outsider was the easiest option. As a dancer myself living in different continents have always yearned to learn about the evolution of the art form and its people who value/d it. Thank you, I shall look out for your articles.
