You must consider the inertia generated by the cassette, due to its weight. On the road due to the higher speed, when you stop pedaling, the cassette tends to keep turning, pushing the chain, and it falls on the chainstay, it becomes dangerous and uncomfortable. My recommendation is that the cassette does not exceed 400gr.

Where do you live that you need a 50t on a road bike? Even if it's a gravel 1x setup the 46t low gear is already pretty extreme and is usually enough.

No wear problems, now it has about 1500 km of use, I started with a new chain, the kmc gold, and I always check the elongation, everything goes 10/10

Ya no tengo es bicicleta, nunca conte los link, pero estos dependeran de varios factores. Ejemplo, largo de vaina, relacion del cassette , desviador y largo de caja, tamaño de roldanas, tamaño del plato o corona.
Lo importante aquí, es en qué posicion queda el desviador, no excesivamente tenso en el piñon mas grande, y que genere tension y a la vez estar bien recogida, en el piñon pequeño. A veces eso lo puedes mejorar combinando roldanas de mas dientes en el tensor, y en laguia mas pequeña. Finalmente te digo solo montando veras si te faltan link, lo cual es probable al usar una corona grande y un piñon 50. Saludos
