I’m working to get a codestream schedule setup. I’ve done them at 8am PST but I want to try other times and also during the week. What’s your time zone and would love to know your favorite times to codestream?
This was really great!! Thanks Ray. I am an old school php/mysql developer and looking to get into some newer frameworks and tools now that ai can likely help speed up the process. Newb question… does Cursor allow you to add your own api keys for Claude or ChatGPT? Or do you have to use the llm credits that they offer you for free and under their paid plans?
I’m delighted you enjoyed the stream. Cursor does let you add your own API keys including Claude and OpenAI. You could also run local models as well. More on that soon!
Nice that you have added Subtitles, but you could run it through AI and get it to separate lines probably, so there's only a sentence or two per sub. Else there is a Subtitle Edit app. It really makes the video become so much more pro and engaging when subtitles are on point. I'm thrilled to see a creator actually add subtitles. Most don't but it's so little work with AI.
Enjoyed this! Still learning myself (no prior coding experience) but would love to see a web app created using cursor without a template. Still figuring out what tech stack to work with
Enjoying your long coding sections. Any chance you are familiar with Dart/flutter? Would love to see if Cursor can be good for helping create apps in Flutter.
@@RayFernando1337 yeah, I think it’s gonna become a lot more popular as AI gets smarter and because of the cross-platform abilities with flutter/dart. Even a lot of bigger companies are switching to it.
i have ideas to develop apps but no coding skills so want to start code with ai but no setup knowledge what kind of tools/software need to install and file/folder management. can you help in that rest i will learn but if you can help in this, it will be helpfull for me.
It might actually be a good idea to start with Replit. I’ll make some videos about that. You can code from a web browser and your app can be published right away. It’s super cool! There are many templates. This is a great topic for my next streams.
@@RayFernando1337 thanks. now i login to replit and this is good to start my code journey but many things to understand. can you make some tutorials using this with gemini api key so that i can create my own web/app platform. thanks once again for your reply👌
The stream is very interesting but the constant zoom in-out and changing position of your face, and the messages popup covering part of the screen resulted in a very annoying experience. Also, music should not be distracting. Besides this, very good job !
Great content, skilled software engineer, cutting edge ai development stuff but the rest very annoying. with a few tweaks it could be so much better and would fit better the great content and the nice engineer on display.
@@RayFernando1337 no doubt you will have those technicalities/psychological aspects perfect as well very soon. it is already very good. all the best to you.
Thanks for your live sessions, Ray! 💫 They’re informative, fun, and you keep dropping feature bombs that teach a noob like me handy tips & tricks. ✨
I’m glad they are helpful. I’m working to keep doing streams and to add value. Thank you so much for the support.
Man, These long coding sessions are always enjoyable! ❤
I love doing these and I am so glad they are getting a lot of reception. Will have to do more!
Loved this stream. You got a great personality as well. Really much enjoyed this.
Thank you so much. 🙏🙏
I love your setup and stream!
I’m glad you loved it and I’ve added timestamps and captions to help.
Really cool energy, and huge alpha shared - thank you for doing this!
Thank you. I can’t wait to share more.
fire live stream, i'm learning so much, i feel like coding, ai and live streaming is going to become huge.
Thank you 🙏 streaming is a lot of fun and I’m enjoying the connection with my audience in real time. Happy to have you around for the next stream!
@@RayFernando1337 what is your stream schedule? I would love to stop by and vibe with you.

thank you youtube algo for blessing me. This video rules. Thanks for doing it.
I’m so glad you found me. 👏✨
Great stream, I'm learning so much
Sweet! My next stream will cover some of the basics and getting started with Cursor.
Amazing stream! Thank you for the awesome session

I have some streams coming up where we use Replit to help you get started. Stay tuned. I really appreciate the feedback. 🎉
Great stream. Thanks for posting.
Sweet!! Glad you liked it.
loving the content!
what is your setup for live stream, camera, screen recording, windows management?
Thank you! Ecamm live for the stream to multiple platforms. Cameras: DJI OSMO Pocket 3 & Canon R5c with 28-70 RF lens
Hey Ray, loved the stream. What's the website that's playing the background music? Could you link it please!
Thank you! I use audiio. I was able to get a referral link to get you 70% off for the year. ref.audiio.com/dm72cwpt
Great vodeo. Can you elaborate when should we use cursor and when should we use v0?
I’ll do that for my next streams.
Hey Ray, loved the video! What are the docs you are attaching as a reference? Could you give us more info on this?
So glad you loved the stream. I have prompts and stuff here: rayfernando.ai/claude-cursor-sauce-frfr
Would be interesting to do the same livestream but with a truly novel app idea. Something that barely has any templates to draw from.
Shoot me some ideas and let’s build it live!! I love being creative.

Cursor can definitely help creating apps in Flutter. I have used it for a Flutter app
Nice! I’ll have to give it a try. Looks like fun!
I’m not familiar with them but I’ll give it a try. Would be cool. What platforms do you use for those languages?
Flutter works with a language called Dart.
