I tried this opera torte, it was delicious but a little too sweet for me. Next time i make this i’ll cut the sugar, I wonder if it’ll affect the stability of the meringue or buttercream.

But I do have a suggestion, please do tell the temperature setting in Celsius too as most of us don't have temperature in f' degree. Please do reply as it will help me in my baking.

Check out the vanilla birthday cake. It is a great moist cake. You can use 9" pans. the layers won't be a high, but not by much.

rice flour alone will not have the same result as with flour. There are proteins in the flour that work with all the other ingredients.
