- I know some of you wonder if prison is really like what they depict in the movies, or on TV shows! Well let me assure you, most of it is NOT… In this video I am going to talk about myths, assumptions, and truths!! Keep in mind this is in a Florida state female prison. I cannot stress that enough because every prison, in every state is different. Love you all and I hope you enjoy!

Just want to say I enjoy listening to ur story times and more up to date information on what it’s like to be incarcerated. I have listened too a couple prison u tubers that are quite interesting and great story tellers but they have been out of prison for a long time and alot has changed since they have been out. I do have suggestions for story time. What about what happens to elderly and disabled and weaker inmates. How r they protected or helped or not? Thanx again for great videos
Nothing nobody messes with the elderly or disabled. Most fights & arguments in female prisons is from couples or if somebody steal from them. Also female prisons is different from the male ones. Also In female prisons nobody bothers the Child mol3sters and abusers.
@@kathleengivant-taylor2277 I actually did a short on this… It’s pretty surprising, but the elderly and disabled are actually very well protected in the female prison. Most people say, “you do not get any cool points for going after someone who is weaker.” if someone was to try and target an elderly or disabled person, there would be quite a few women who are most likely mothers, who would step in and protect that person… Even bullies don’t generally pick on these groups inside the female prison. I know inside the male prison. It’s completely different, but prison elderly disabled women do not have a thing in the world to worry about. Thank you for being here and for enjoying my journey! Aww 🥰🙏 i’m truly glad that you are enjoying my videos. Honestly, I haven’t disappeared… I haven’t made a video in a few months, but it’s only because I was trying to wait for my true crime story to come out with my actual documented story on VH1 and producers told me through signing contracts and paperwork that I was not allowed to share all the details of my personal story until they aired the season premiere. It was supposed air by July, then they told me August, but they are still wrapping up the season and so I don’t know when it’s going to come out… at this point, I don’t care, I’m letting people know what the show is, and I’m coming back by October 15 with my regular videos and my life story. If this season doesn’t give me an air date or start advertising for the season premiere, I can’t put my channel on hold forever because they didn’t give me the right date as far as when season three is supposed to come out. I was so afraid I wouldn’t get new RUclips supporters and/or that I would lose some by not posting regularly, but YOUR comment just really breathe life into me and was super encouraging so I had to write you back and say a big thank you! Your support was really needed at this point and you have no idea how much it just reinvigorated my journey on RUclips! I feel the same way! From the first video I watched, I was drawn to you. Something told me to keep watching, that you were special and had a good story/message to tell. Good people can get caught up, make mistakes, plain old fuck up…but that doesn’t mean they can’t overcome and turn it around. I know, because I was one of “those people “.

Spent some time in LCI from 2010-12 before being sent to Gadsden till 2015 (end of my sentence) for a crime of desperation (did not involve violence or drugs though, it was a driving job for counterfeit currency which I got caught up in ). I have to ask - how did you manage to survive those humid summers? The sweat killed me, I used to wet one of shirts and wrap it on my forehead just to sleep! Perfect description of how things were in there btw! Love your stories and even use it to explain it to my son on how things were there for me (back then he was a minor). Also completely agree about the Asian point, I was the only Indian origin in there throughout the 5 years I was incarcerated both at Lowell and Gadsden though because of my color and height, people thought I was a latina and didnt bat an eye!

I was in county jail in NY .. long Island.... And let me tell u, we had a large group that would kind of stick together if Asian women... They didn't speak English but always tried communicating with them. They were sweet... Everyone loved them.

Here in Cali we have what’s called a Family. So we will have an OG mom and dad that’s a stud and brother and sister.

I had 2 associates from china while I was incarcerated and they were both doing 10 years also. they were foreign exchange students. Super nice and cooked for me on my birthday ☺️
28:32 we had something that looked like a Salisbury steak patty. We called it an APP. That stood for all purpose Patty. They could make it taste like pork, chicken or steak. If we got fed real chicken, it would look like it had been run over by a truck. It was so flat. We would take our catchup packets and some Tabasco. We would mix the two together on our plate and dip the chicken in it. Really enjoy hearing about the woman side. Keep up the good work. Love you always,

Have you ever witnessed a woman have a boyfriend or husband waiting for them on the outside, yet she has a girlfriend or wife on the inside?
If so, does she still authentically love her boyfriend or husband out here? Even though she has a wife or girlfriend in there?

Hey so I just read your comment and See it wasnt answered so here's my answer. So I've unfortunately been to prison in the state of Florida twice and when I tell you the girlfriend thing is no joke... ITS NO JOKE !! But to answer your question, yes a female could be actually married and was so in love with her husband before she got incarcerated and they are still together and he's holding her down and taking care of her and all that but majority of the females become what you call 'gay for the stay' and they get into a full blown relationship with a female she's in prison with and now she's so in love with her and don't even wanna be with her husband anymore. But the girl will continue to entertain her man because he is providing for her and little does he know her gf too. That's like the most important thing in prison is having someone on the outs sending you money and taking care of you.so of course she is going to tell you whatever as long as the money keeps coming. It's pretty messed up bc most guys are being used and being told one thing and she's in there shacked up with her gf and that guy is the last thing on her mind
That's my first hand experience and all that love she had for you is going to her new boo. And that's just keeping it real as possible.. bc it's like outta sight outta mind. And now all her time is spent with this girl and it's very easy to fall in love like that even if you were straight your whole life.. I've seen the straightest girls turn into studs over night

I said nothing will happen to you, it's just the floor is dirty. But she doesn't listen and she said, "Oh it's not because the floor is dirty, it's because they can r*@#$/ you". Gosh. People don't listen!!!

side story: my friend was visiting his grandpa when he was a little kid. he found a box of mints. weirdest tasting mints ever i guess but he had nothing else to snack on so he was walking aroyund at grandpa's with this box of weird tasting mints...
til eventually, his grandpa asked "what are you planning on doing with that box of moth balls?"

Depends which country you are in. I had a Chinese Girlfriend in prison i visited 100 times in an Australian N.S.W. State Prison over 4 years.Quite a few Asians in their + Aboriginals and for mostly drug crimes but also white collar money crimes too.

#1 is not exactly true. I used to work for the NYC department of corrections. We did have Asian inmates, but they didn’t number a lot. Maybe you didn’t see any because FL doesn’t really have a big Asian population compared to NY, so state demographics factor in. But they do go to jail/prison here.
Anyways, not sure how I came across your channel, but it’s very interesting and I love your stories. You’re absolutely beautiful, too.
Im in Canada and we def have Asians in our prisons too. They usually get busted for money laundering, illegal gambling and occassionally gang activity.
Agreed, I live in an area with a large asian population, and I can confirm from work experience that there is a significant (although not necessarily proportionate) percent of asian inmates in our prisons. Their convictions are often drug or gang related. Like Jen said though, every prison in every place is different.
I guess one of my questions is, do you miss it? I understand it was a tough time in your life and you probably enjoy your freedom, but, in prison, jail, or the military, your put into a situation where you eat, sleep, and play together, where sex and relationships are great risk and even greater trust, you have to trust the person that you have a relationship with will not betray you or set you up to get favor or benefits. There is an incentive to betray one another, so the relationship that you have if it lasts has to be high quality, where both participants trust each other. Do you miss having that level of trust and not being betrayed?

So you were in isolation for 67 days? That's illegal. I think the max allowed by law is 2 weeks. I have never been locked up but I have watch different prison youtubers. If I were the one making the rules it would be no more than half a day. Do you have a video about the psychological effects isolation had on you?
What ? That’s not true. I know people personally that been in isolation for 8 months even years because they got in trouble in general population. Idk where u got 2 weeks from. When I was locked up this one girl had to do 90 days in segregation cuz she got into a fight…Whoever told u it was 2 weeks lied…. Also Somebody name Wallace and Woodfox did 40 years in segregation…. Also people that’s facing the death penalty is usually in segregation for over 20 years until they about to die. They not allowed to be wit general population depending on the state u in

I love your videos!!! The only suggestion I would make, and I say this as someone with a sensory processing disorder, the tongue clicking is absolutely unbearable for me. If you could try to scale that back? It makes it hard to listen knowing you may do that at any time.

yeah prison isn't cold AT ALL and it's hot as hell in the summer. I'm in Cali and it was the same in our prison except we had a shitty A/C that would atleast get it down to a little over room temp so we weren't sweating our asses off inside, and we had hot water and showers in prison. County jail was FREEZING FUKIN COLD ALWAYS even in summer, didn't matter, outside weather had no effect on the thick ass concrete walls of the county jail and the industrial A/C always set to like 55 degrees & blasted day & night 24/7😢 plus no heated plumbing in county so ONLY cold showers!

yeah I know but it’s odd that she keeps saying she did 10 years in prison if anything she did 9 years and I’m not even sure she did that much flat time but either way she hasn’t done a decade as someone who did over a decade flat in women’s prison it’s odd yet very telling to hear someone claim more time then they did. She was arrested in 2011 released in feb 2020 not sure what month she was arrested and if she stayed in the whole time before being sentenced but let’s say she did stay in then that only at most is 9years and that’s if she was arrested in Jan or feb. So it’s pushing it even saying 9 years but I’ll give her that.
