At first I thought Noah was struggling to pull Optimus Prime away, but it all makes sense now.
I think the sucking from unicron became more powerful and noah was not able to pull optimus furthur

1 movie detail for the next video: At the end of the movie, when Agent Burke showed Noah their base, you can see an alien ship parked in their garage. But if you take a good look at it, it's actually Scourge's ship, and it was most likely found somewhere on Peru since the Terrorcons went there using their ships. This also means that the G.I Joe was already spying on them since the attack on the museum in New York.

To be fair he was tying to pull Optimus who is a giant robot and way heavier than he is. Plus the sucking had a part in preventing him from pulling Optimus.

If destroying the key was the only way to stop Unicron to eat the Earth, why didn't they just shot the key from a long distance, so they could survive the explosion and get away from there quickly?
