【イントロダクション】
西暦5012年。
突如地球へと飛来してきた＜エイリアン＞と、
彼らが生み出した＜機械生命体＞により、人類は絶滅の危機に陥った。
月へと逃げのびた僅かな人類は、地球奪還のため、
＜アンドロイド＞の兵士を用いた反攻作戦を開始。
しかし無限に増殖し続ける＜機械生命体＞を前に、戦いは膠着状態に陥る。
人類は最終兵器として、新型のアンドロイド＜ヨルハ＞部隊を地球へと派遣した。
西暦11945年。
「第243次降下作戦」が決行され、
新たに＜ヨルハ＞部隊の＜2B＞と＜9S＞が地球へと派遣される。
両名は機械生命体の基幹ユニット＜アダム＞及び＜イヴ＞の撃破に成功。
これを敵の殲滅、及び永きに亘る戦争終結への好機と捉えた＜人類軍＞は、
機械生命体に対し総攻撃をかける決断を下す。
これは運命に翻弄された＜アンドロイド＞たちの、戦いと願いの記録――。

エミール/犠牲などでも用いられた弦楽器四重奏と2Bを表す歌詞…ヨコオさんの綴る詞は惹きつけられる
ヨコオさんまじ凄すぎだろ！
2Bってゲームの中だと真面目で自分の役割を全うするっていう気持ちが強すぎるから一瞬このEDの踊る2Bに違和感覚えるけどこの2Bは表には出せなかった自分を出してるんだらうなって感じがして勝手にダメージ食らってる。ほんとは何にも縛られず自由に生きてたかったんだろうなって(語彙力)

the drop at 0:52 whit 2b dancing on the moon is one of the most beautiful scenes i even seen in anime.

I remember seeing Lucy in episode 1 for the first few times and my brain just going "is that 2B?!", it's the hair and red eyeliner with blue eyes.
The part you mentioned, reminds me a bit of 魔王。(Shadowlord)
(It has a fairly different vibe to it though, as it is boss music.)
The song feels bit like a mashup of songs that has been present through the Drakengard/Drag-On Dragoon; ngl, feels weird to feel nostalgic about something new.
Without a doubt, this is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.
The robotic choir and the whispers in the background. Everything that happened and (we know) will happen. 2B dancing in such a context, like her last will before disappearing. Like it doesnt matter to bury her feelings now that its over.
A last effort, a cry of freedom to say goodbye to their loved one and that world that was so cruel to them. (Leaving just weapon. REincarnation reference iguess)

音声がバグってるところあるのもウィルスにやられてるところという解釈と同時に何回も９S処刑したせいで精神データが既に壊れかけてたと設定集の小説にあったところ回収してる
原作既プレイ勢はぜひ聞くべき曲

@@mansour2424 They probably wouldn't remake all of them into one game, since Yoko Taro does not consider Drakengard 2 as a part of his games. It is canon to itself, just as everything can be Canon to the NieR universe but it is it's own thing not at all connected to the rest.

Beside using Drakengard 3 as the refference, I found some tribute to NieR Replicant / Gestalt too. In 00:00 u can hear some notes that similar to Emil/Sacrifice. Also in 01:19, the notes sounds so similar with Shadowlord Castle
Huge Yuuki Yuuna vibes from this ending. No wonder, both series had music made by the same people.

Honestly, out of all the Ops and Eds, this one probably fits the most with automata's original soundtrack
the harmony feels like a combination of whole franchise, the bell in the end felt like it's from Drakengard 1, while the lyrics are almost felt like from Drakengard 3
曲の入りにエミール/犠牲を感じた
これずっと2b だと思ってたけど 最新話で A2説あるよねって思って見返してみたらこの曲歌詞が2つ同時に存在していて1つが2Bに当てはまるのに対してもう1つは完全にA2の歌詞で辛い、特に0:37から 完全に黒歌詞がA2で白歌詞が2Bって感じがする。後、最後の歌詞の「罰」は2Bで「傷」がA2なんだね…
話聞いてDOD3の曲に似てるって聞きに来たけどDOD1の尽きるににも似てるなあ
exactly we find a lot of reference from drakengard to nier replicant and even nier automata sound similar to "ash of dream", "emil sacrifice" or even the tower (automata). Not counting the flower of drakengard 3 and the famous "tsukiru" that we hear at the end of the 2 endings
