To be honest i think this is the best tate langdon video out there. i hate how others focus on his and violet's relationship and romanticise his violence and tortured mind. he was a fucked up character, and this video shows it perfectly
If Tate wasn't as hot and cute he is, everyone would be really afraid of him, and wouldn't want a 'tate' for themselves and they'd think he was a mentally unstable sociopath. But since he is hot and cute, everyone overlooks his faults and thinks he's actually good at heart. I think the way most of the audience feels about Tate shows a lot about why they chose Evan Peters to be Tate in the first place, it's strange that, (myself included) we all sympathise and feel sorry for Tate, even at the end of the season when we know everything Tate did, in our heads we are still able to ignore it all and prefer to side with him being happy instead of more deserving characters I think it shows incredible writing skills from the writers and brilliant acting skills from Evan Peters, making the audience feel like this If you've seen the show Dexter, the idea is similar, even though Dexter is a serial killer, for some reason you don't want him to get caught due to the complexity of the events leading up to the murders
this is the first time i see someone do such a comparison with dexter and i wholeheartedly agree (7 years later 😂) the great acting, and definitely some level of attractiveness, also plays in us rooting for such characters (both evan peters and MCH are hella great actors)
