Very nice footage and satellite views! I wonder which came first - collapse of newly added landmass triggering the eruption, or vice versa? Perhaps nearby seismometer data could tease that apart. As an aside, it would be great if you could credit your sources in the description.
Will add the credits asap. Ws in a hurry to put out the movie. The lava buildup underground was not released in december and the new mass atop probably made this explosion possible
This is very informative, especialy the part showing the tsunami hitting the coastline. I thought, the tsunami might be to small to, maybe even be noticed at all, now i see it was a bit more than that. Thankfully it seems it was not serious enough. Thank you for the upload, God Bless you and yours.
Well. It was even more powerful, but as you can see the exact location a test would seem very unlikeley to me. There are images of the island slipping away before the explosion started
@@volcanotimelapses8311 I’ve seen videos from others far away when the sonic boom hit so I would’ve expected a similar video of that happening at the volcano is all 🌋
@@Twenty_twin_twin the Sonic boom moment has been captured indeed. Most other footage is from some time before the big explosion. If they would have been there on the boat at that time they would not live to tell. There is some footage from islands 60km away. Will try and see if May use that
Thanks for this - for not overwhelming the video with extra talk over, and for enabling subtitles because the audio was uncertain in several places👍.
On the left is a pyroclastic flow. I would be terrified. Those race over water like glass.
Great video
Cue the doomsayers!

Now that was Instant Climate Change, right before your very eyes ! Awesome Footage !!
aerial shots were great. building a house on the beach, not even elevated, is probably a bad idea
This one event just erased 10 years of carbon reduction efforts for all of California.
That is too close. I would not feel safe even at 40 km from that volcano
In a 50km radius the day went black.
isn't that something, the way it is hitting the water and just spreading 🤔🤔💕🎶🙏🏽 prayers if anyone is near to there
It would almost be incredible if there are no people Hurt. Praying indeed for the best

Has anyone seen firsthand footage of the explosion that caused the shockwave heard around the world?
I think the outer space video was it which is super creepy thinkin bout
@@erikio123 yeah I’m trying to disprove to myself that it wasn’t a nuclear weapons test but I don’t see any firsthand videos of the blast.

I recommend not using ai voices because it’s terrible
Is it really that difficult to hire a human being for narration?
