q is a magazine show that’s unpredictable in the best sense - proud to be “a wild mix of culture by way of Canada” as described by the New York Times. The Globe & Mail noted the show’s “raging popularity across a variety of platforms -- podcasts, television, websites, satellite radio, terrestrial radio, and occasional live remote broadcasts."
It's ironic that neither Mandy or Milo have any children - yet they are so inspiring parental role models. Also ironic that Mandy is the youngest cast member that plays the oldest character and their mother. I have a totally newly found respect for Mandy.
But.... Do you know she is 37 years old now?
@@yenij2888 yes . . and all her co-stars are older . . . as I pointed out in my comment
@@yenij2888 actually - - she's only 36
@@TomLloyd-18 oh yeah
She is so articulate shows just how much shes studied her character.
meadow8sweet with a lisp
I now have a new found respect for Mandy Moore, she is so amazingly grounded and real! And kudos to the interviewer, GREAT JOB MATE!!!
Thanks Darren. Agreed! And thanks for watching. Happy to hear you're enjoying Tom's approach.
This interview is amazing. The questions are so thought provoking and well thought out. (def taking notes)
Thanks Tatiana!
I remember when she first hit the music charts at the very beginning of her career... No offense to her or her music career, but I didn't really give it a second thought other than I thought she was tiny and cute... But now that she in my eyes anyways, has resurfaced in an acting career, I feel differently about her. She has grown into this very beautiful woman and a very talented actress... And I feel that at her age now, she would bring wisdom to the music scene. More mellow soothing kind of music that I personally would enjoy.
I just started watching, This Is Us about two weeks ago... And I binged the entire two and a half seasons in just a few days time and I fell in love! The cast, the story lines, the freakin lump in the throat scenes... etc... Haha... It is an amazing show. It's been almost exactly two years since this interview and I have yet to hear anything about her re-kicking off her music career. And I'm actually looking forward to it!
And as of right this moment, no word yet of a fourth season, which is kind of weird and late in my opinion. It seems as though they should have already made that announcement by now... I'm hoping for many more seasons of, This Is Us!
Mandy Moore actually has the toughest role out of all the actors, pulling off two different ages of the same person, convincingly and effectively so.
she is absolutely breath taking.
I love that this interview is introspective and personal that you can really imagine what Mandy was/ is feeling throughout this whole process. Also love how the interviewer asked all of the questions that are so well thought out and creative. Mandy will surely remain one of my fave artists, as an actress, a singer, etc. Not to mention shes such a beautiful person. inside and out.
Excellent interview. Mandy answers Tom's questions with such honesty, poise, intelligence, and grace. And it helps that Tom's interview style is so conversational ... he's not confrontational, childish, or downright retarded like many interviewers are. Best of luck to both in the future - of course, Mandy now has a star on the Hollywood walk of fame, This Is Us recently got renewed for 3 more seasons, and she has climbed Kilimanjaro and to Everest base camp. You go girl!
She seems like she is such a lovely person just like the character she plays.
She is
I think Mandy is such a wonderful actress as well as a beautiful person inside and out. I feel like I kinda know her since I follow her now on instagram now. I didn't anything about her until I first watched A Walk To Remember on you tube a few years ago. And now she is my most favorite stat. Love her benches.
Would really love to see her return to music.
Miles Jourdain chill... she's busy being our mom.
yah and shaking that azz
YES!!!
This is a great interview! Does anyone else tear up during that monologue too? Every fear I have of ever becoming a parent is in that monologue. It's beautiful and relatable.
Thank you for watching. Don't worry being a parent, while scary AF, is a pretty natural experience. :)
I love that he didn't interrupt her at all while she was answering questions. That's a true respectful professional right there. Great job Tom! 🙌
Mandy is so down to earth and I also like the interviewer. He is professional and cute :D
Oh my goodness, i love mandy moore. This interview was amazing and she's such an awesome role model and person in general❤
Thanks! :)
Mandy Moore is so huge, yet so down to earth, I recall being on Mandy Moore Instagram page, I posted a question concerning her career and fitness, not knowing that mandy responded in person on the other end of her Instagram page wow so awesome, incredible and a phenomena, yet so down to earth.
Oh dear! From a girl who started so young she’s doing pretty great, I also love the way she puts her words, so well worked and clear. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Honest, Beautiful and Classy! Mandy Moore
Caught this on Radio1 this morning. Great chemistry. Tom is really coming into his own. I'm loving the show. Keep up the good work Q crew!
Thank you for sharing. Happy to hear you feel that.
Miss musical Mandy, Wild Hope was a great album.
Wow. This is probably one of the best interviews I've ever seen, thank you!👏 I felt like I got to know not only her character as Rebecca but Mandy herself as well. Bless this beautiful and wonderful human💛 I'll always be a fan of hers!😊 Ps. I cannot wait for #ThisIsUs season 2!
Thanks! We're really glad you enjoyed it!
I just love you Mandy Moore!! And I wish you would have gotten together with Milo in your real life. Seems like a great match I know I'm such a dreamer oh well.....
what a great interview.
Thank you for watching!
This interview was just PERFECT. Period.
Hey Mandy Moore with so many characters you've had to become on each of your sets,
How and when do you return to be Mandy Moore again when all is done?
Love love this series and think Mandy is excellent!
You are the BEST interviewer! It's so difficult to come up with well-researched, thought-provoking, in-depth questions, and you make it seem easy. Not only that, but you don't let your scripts prevent you from flowing with the organic flow of the conversation. Keep it up
Loved this interview! Mandy is so lovely and Tom is such a respectful and thoughtful interviewer. Thought it was awesome that he respected her privacy by waiting for her to say that Taylor was her man. Super classy!!
Mandy is what we would call a "generous interviewee" - kind and thoughtful and willing to share at her own pace.
Absolutely Loved this interview .............
what a nice interview
Great interview. He was great, and she’s great!
Amazing interview. I loved the questions and that the interviewer didn't interrupt or rush to each question.
I love her
Wow she’s really hyper.
Great interview! I love the ending 😂
‘If never played a wife before’. Jamie Sullivan Carter has disliked this.
What a lovely interview!
What a lovely comment :)
q on cbc 😊
Love Mandy Moore in this show
i love her so much im miss you mandy moore
be okay and strong
I do not want to be disappointed -I cannot bring my self to think she cheated on Milo-Why she married Milo's best friend? Did Migale cheat with her. A woman who does not fit the Character of a cheat.
She does not cheat on Jack, noting just watched episode of Jacks death. Milo says in interview to give Miquel a break..........that Miquel earned the spot of marrying her and respect of the BIG 3
I love how shes always stressing that shes never full of herself. She never thinks that shes better than anyone else. So amazing! Also, shes aged so wonderfully!🫶🫶Shes so incredibly real
