I’m surprised Ana wasn’t one of the original lineup of heroes because to this day she’s still the best thing Overwatch has ever done for support players
I mean I bought a t-shirt in the first season of OW1 that was the whole cast and it included Ana. That's how early she was. The crazier thing to think about is that the only heroes who could legitimately heal were Mercy, Lucio, Zen, and Soldier at launch. For people who think powercreep isn't a thing, Mercy did less HPS than she does now, had WAY less mobility, and was a main healer. PS I'm not saying support and healcreep are the only problem. Damage creep is definitely a thing too. Mercy is just an easy example.

there is something really scary about a tank player in the role that he roasted a lot and laughing at his own main wich has been slaughtered to the point that he dies to two characters that are supossed to be weaker than him
My friends are getting to a point where they are learning other roles. But in comp I'm the designated tank as I'm the only "calm" one 😂 and I main Rein. Now I won't play rein as I know what the meta is and where rein sits. So any time I see a rein I'll say "Time to delete him boys." A tank, bastion, and moria can be scary to a rein.
@@Iznoot I guess its personal preference, but Moira has her healing ball and dash ability to secure distance and health. So if you can keep those two in check and always have one or the other during a 1v1 you can likely win. Rein is one of the only "easy" tank 1v1s though. Anyone who can shoot you can pretty much play the same game with you. Except you can heal and get out quickly. This allows for a aggressive play style. Plus the 2 have voice lines together that make me want to fight when I see the other. Rein-"I should squish you like a bug for what you've done!" Moria-"Did you know certain centipedes kill prey 15 times their size?" Rein-"What are you saying?" Moria-"I'm advising my *prey* not to test me." Ever since I heard that its been my priority to scare reins as Moria and scare morias as Rein.
A simple buff wpuld be to add emergy waves to each Dragon Blade slash. This at least solves the issue of Genji without dash just walking forward swinging a wet noodle, he gets cleave and a bit of added range.
Buffing blade wont solve the problem. That's just the classic blizzard "power creep" mindset of "this thing isn't performing give it some extra stuff so it does better" when they should look at the bigger issue and say "this thing isn't working because: healing is too high, time to kill is too low, support abilities are broken, certain cool downs are too short etc. As far as ultimates go, his isn't even that weak, but it has too many ways to get cancelled because of other characters in the cast, not because his own ultimate is weak. Its like how, on paper, Rein ult is very strong because it does a large stun allowing your team to get kills but in reality it just gets suzu'd and it's like you never even pressed Q. TL:DR Buffing characters that are weaker doesn't solve the issue of *why* they're weaker, and buffing them without addressing this won't help anything

The only reason why it isnt right now is cause the 2 supports all have 3-4 answers to it. And if 1 fails they can use a 2nd one to deal with it. Its no longer ult trading ults, its 2 ults traded by 2 abilities.
Imagine if blade on top of slash damage inflicted some bleed damage, much like his very old swift strike? It'd give him a lil bit more damage per slash but it's still damage that potentially could be healed through, and it'd also help finish enemies who have a sliver of HP left after slashing them
there are a few ults that people don't fear, I play Hanzo a lot and even at my low level its not feared at all unless there's like a zarya ult. I mostly just use it to zone or create space

I love playing Ana more than any other hero besides Lucio because you can miss 60% of your shots and as long as you sleep dart+grenade the tank and your other support heals you’ll still automatically win most games
Genji blade is INCREDIBLY situational. 1.) No tanks that deal any damage can be in the vicinity. 2.) Mercy must be dead and not respawning anywhere near the ult activation. 3.) Baptiste must also either be on invulnerability field cooldown or dead completely (preferably dead). 4.) Moira must not exist whatsoever throughout the entirety of the game. 5.) Sombra must be deleted from the lobby. 6.) Symmetra cant be a picked option. 7.) Zen ult either negated with Nano or not available. 8.) Lifeweaver must also be dead. 9.) All support and DPS mobility options must be on cooldown or hacked. 10.) Send Zarya back to the Gulag. And finally number 11.) All enemies must be in a relatively close proximity due to limited horizontal mobility. Most of the time, almost all of these steps must be taken all at once in order to get even an inkling of dread for a Dragonblade. Its why you rarely see Genjis ult unless its in QP or very low elo comp games. Genji is still decent outside of his ult if utilized correctly. But holy shit please either remake his dogshit ultimate or buff it for the love of god.

Blade really is just an accessory. I feel like without a nano or mercy damage boost, or any other kind of support, it's useless. Just something to make the enemy team use ults

Ana having sleep dart is fine because she has no mobility, just ignore her ability that also heals her, does 80 damage to the enemy, and stops them from healing, and ignore Zenyatta

as a person who has never played overwatch in over 8 years i was so confused as to why you were shooting your teammates until i noticed it was healing them.
Hot take: she is perfectly balanced. Like no joke. OW2's new roster of heroes have all either great mobility or a way to get out of danger quickly. Not to mention 5v5 has faster flow than 6v6. Sure there may still be absolute standstills but all in all, it's faster. Her nade and dart are all she has to stay competitive. And if she misses her dart, she's screwed 🤷🏻♂️
Compared to every other hero with immobilization abilities, ana has a small skillshot. Nade in general keeps getting nerfed and can also just be suzu'd, reflected, eaten, or reset. If you're being pounded by an ana it means they're better than you.

I think they're just gonna nerf burst damage on a lot of weapons and abilities and keep Genjiblade as is tbh.
