    I recommend heavier duty wheels - those skateboard/luggage wheels will only last for a few roll-arounds before they split. On the bright side, with this design, they will be easy to change as often as you want, and to whatever better alternative you decide on after the first set fails.

      Skip the wheels and use a dolly cart should you need to move it. It would be be more streamlined and seems like a lot of extra time for nothing.

    I had 4 35 inch tires had to get rid of. I cut the side walls off and use them for around base of ornamental grass to keep them from spreading and to keep weeds from growing. Bury them under mulch.

    Идея отличная. Я сам уже лет 10 собираюсь соорудить подобное основание для уличного фонаря (чтобы его можно было по мере надобности перемещать).

    Да, и "балеринка" для вырезания отверстий фрезером у тебя прикольная. Возьму "на вооружение".

      That wont work,i have changed many motorcycle tyres and the amount of force req is a lot, myn is mounted to my concrete floor,it doesnt move. prob ok for bycicle tyre changing.

      Another waste of time for tire changer, it would flip over. Unless your changing an RC CAR TIRE! 😅😊😂

      Hi, this tire was on my car. Outwardly, it does not seem to be bad yet, but while driving it hummed a lot and there was vibration on the body) You saw her further fate in this video!

      Aquí en Costa Rica las carreteras están tan deterioradas que esos defectos de las llantas ni se notan; se cambian porque ya están muy desgastadas y no van a pasar la inspección vehicular, ahí ya se usan para construir muros de retención o muchas otras aplicaciones similares!... 🤭

    My Dad had one of these 60+ years ago ,minus the mini wheels and concrete. Welded 3" pipe to steel wheel .added vise to top.Just lean over and wheel it around to where you want to be . Still using it minus the tire. It burned away from all the welding slag!

    Excellent idea with great execution. Needed to put flat washers on either side of the plastic wheels. Otherwise the steel next to them will chew them up. 9/10.

    Good idea for some things. Other things it is really to wide like for the saw. One would have to stand farther away than ideal to operate it.

    Very Nice, If I was build one, my situation would require bigger wheels for taking the stand out into the rough yard. Oh, if only I had some concrete floors,...lol

    What a great idea…my dad would have loved it, made it and used it a lot! (still miss him RIP) I’m wondering if larger wheels could be used by mounting them more towards the center of the tire?

    Good idea but an over kill, could have used a much smaller tire for that, cement is very heavy

    Question? Do you really need the weight for working? It seems to be a lot of overkill. Perhaps adding some pearl lite to counter act all that weight. I get the height think just not all the struggling weight. Good reuse of the tire though. Thank you.

    Not knowing by the title and having any idea what I was going to see? It becomes ten minutes of my life I'll never get back. Neet device But in costs for parts and the fact that you already had a used tire that you likely paid a recycle fee just to keep and do this with goes beyond being sensible

    440 lbs?? Nah, that's not really portable to most folks and you had to work pretty good to control it. Cool idea as a one of a kind item. 6/10

    Waste of time, just use a tire and rim, and if you need it heavier then add water into the tire. Also, it does not need the tiny skateboard wheels, to be rolled where you want it.

    You can't pull something clamped in the vice. It will fall over! A work bench out of two by sixes would be sturdier!

    Don’t the four nuts at the bottom fit lower than the edge of the tire? It seems the weight would rest on those.

    Gute Idee bestimmt auch für die großen Sonnenschirmständer und umkippen erden die bestimmt auch nicht
    Noch etwas Color und es ist ein Schmucstück im Garten
    Ich würde noch einen Tisch mit Loch einbauen ald Getränketisch
