A lot of people just look at the evil Hyde scene and say the whole vfx department was terrible in this film, which isn't accurate at all. The invisibility quirks shown in the film are great. And the submarine stuff was really good. And Hyde was done with prosthetics so no cgi there. Definitely good effects in the movie.

I still cannot fathom my eyes that this is the same actor who played Vincent Van Gough in Doctor Who, the train conductor from the Midnight Meat Train, Baseplate/MacMillan and Yuri from Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 (2011) and Despero from The Flash. Tony Curran is such an incredible actor right there!

Could've used a few alternative writing choices, but this movie is criminally underrated, especially when compared to its comic counterpart.
Most notably, if it wasn't for this movie having Moriarty trying to steal the Leagues' powers to start WWI, we'd never have gotten the same kinda plot in Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows.

Sucks they couldn't get the rights to the original Invisible Man, cause I buy him being a chemist more than Mina, who in the Bram Stoker novel was a school teacher or mistress (I think that's the same thing back then?). Also, making her instead the team lead like in the comics would make sense since she was a major part in taking down Dracula.
