🥇 “Blooming” is widely considered by fans to be one of their masterpieces. There’s enough there for music theory study, but it’s entirely accessible for the fun and casual listener.
Famously written as a result of Kanami becoming a bit cross with the other members for their lack of songwriting input, Minchozilla gave them all homework. Each Maid eventually brought her their musical ideas.
MISA delivered the intro/outro. Akane? The rumbling toms that bring on the solos. The “far away” vocal melodies? Not sure, yet. My suspicion is Saiki.
Lyrics were definitely Miku.
The more you listen, the more you will hear.
Just gorgeous! A banger with that angelic chorus "Far away. Take me somewhere far away".

Second favorite song from the Maids for me. So thank you for reacting to it. Yes, it was a homework assignment from Kanami to the rest of the Maids. Then Kanami worked her magic and stitched it all together. The result...this masterpiece. You mentioned "Daydreaming" next. Nice! My favorite song from the Maids. Another masterpiece, but it will be a rock ballad instead. Looking forward to it. PO!🕊 🤘😆🤘
