The moment y'all started in the naan place it felt familiar. I eventually realised you guys were in New friend's Colony. This was so nostalgic to watch. This was our go-to spot when we were kids. It's been 20 years now, all the shops have changed, but it's weirdly still familiar 😅
New Delhi is great for food and different tourist spots like Lotus temple , akshardham temple ,Red Fort, India gate etc but also loads of creeps so you have to be careful of that too
I’ve been in desperate need of a really cool down to earth female traveling India channel… I know that’s specific but I just love travel vlogs. Delhi is not the best place to travel as a tourist....I'm saying this as a Delhiite. People are very aggresive and they don't have patience. Every state is better than delhi.
@@charchitsingh-e4b I don't think it's because of Law and order. Laws are there and there are people to enforce it. It's about the common behavior of the people.
The problem is with people, we need to set examples. Also I think the youth needs to be pushed towards something productive or at least entertaining but with some sort of restrictions, we are creating a bad society. I see lust stories trending in India and with time stamps of particular scene and i feel alarmed because it's definitely the youth that is the target audience of the show, while I am not saying to ban everything I think we need to balance such content with educational content that makes the youth aware of behaving sensibly; I come from UP and here the problem is more like the same. Ethical Education is must for the betterment of our society.

It's really scary and frustrating when you are all drenched on your way to somewhere suddenly. But you guys dealt with it a lot more positively than even the locals :)

Also, it's better to Uber it, or use the metro services... Locals with even slightly decent means either have their own cars or use various app based cab services...

By the way, it is always nice to be a cautious in unknown places and especially to not take food items and cigarettes etc from strangers, so you definitely did well there. But at the same time while you were returning, it was really unfortunate to see you getting panicked. I can tell you, that that happened because most probably people in the comments section has done a lot of fear mongering about Delhi with you people. But that doesn't reflect the actual situation. I have stayed in Delhi for decades so I do understand Delhi a lot. You would be safe when you are in a public place anywhere in Delhi, the issue can only be secluded places when in dark (which I guess is never a good idea anywhere), so avoid them. No kidnapping has ever happened in an autorickshaw ever, it is an open vehicle, so it is always a safer choice. But a lot of confusion happens because of language barrier, so autorickshaw drivers who generally don't know English aren't able to tell you exactly what they want to say. I would say when it comes to getting an autorickshaw if you face trouble getting it or explaining the destination to them, pls do not feel shy to get help from a nearby local person who appears educated, people in India are usually very helpful and would really try to help you. But the catch is that never take more help then required, one has to be smart always, you have to be always cautious and can never read anyone's mind.
Delhi is one of the worst places to go. There's scsmmers everywhere there. And people trying to get you to follow them . If not that men will follow you trying to get into you room your staying at. Or some taxi drivers taking you to places you haven't asked.
@@pauline6005 I guess you didn't watch the video, absolutely no one followed or scammed them even when they were travelling without company of any men. Are you aware that there are hundreds of thousands of foreign tourists which visit Delhi every single day, and there are no such incidents. The only issue is that one single bad incident gets blown apart, because Delhi being the capital and gets most attention and then the same incident gets parroted by millions of people repeatedly.
@@vipulgupta you didnt read my comment properly I never said these two were scammed. I said for them to be careful. And to be honest. They were scammed by the rickshaw drivers. Because there's the tourist cost and citizen cost.. plus theres no set price for their travel so they could of haggled for it to be alot more cheaper watch karl rock he shows the good , bad and the ugly of india.
@@pauline6005 Don't take it offensively, but may be you should have also read my comment properly. Read my original comment where I clearly appreciated that being careful and cautious is most important while travelling, be it India or any other place for that matter. Besides, what you are referring to as scam of 30 cents can also be a miscommunication which I have often seen in their videos. I have even advised to use the conversation feature on Google Translate app to avoid miscommunication. And no there is no tourist cost and citizen cost, it is the awareness cost and non awareness cost, citizens of India also face the same issue if they don't bargain properly. I agree with you that autorickshaw in many parts of India are not fined properly, so that they charge customers as per the meter, but I guess there are bad sides in every place in the world. To make you more aware about the issues, the thing is that it is mandatory for all autorickshaws to charge customers as per metered reading, and there is a meter installed in all autorickshaws. But most often they don't use the meter because the charges as per the meter are often too low for them to even earn a decent living, and those charges are per km as fixed by the government which are not revised properly as per the inflation. So there are much deeper issues in it for any foreign person to understand. And ironically the 30 cents that he probably charged extra becomes a scam but overall he charged Rs.80, but Uber would have charged them around Rs.300 for the same distance but that is not scam! People don't understand that these autorickshaw driver hardly make Rs.15000 a month, which is less than $200!!, but funnily people still try to brand them as scammers!! It is more of an issue of being ignorant and non empathetic. Tourists are well aware that they can use Uber or Ola and Metro, where the costs are non negotiable but they still use autorickshaw, I don't know who to blame for this. Perhaps they do that being fully aware of the issues related to it. But nevertheless it is upto us if we want to get bogged down by some bad sides of place and not use methods to not face them, or travel around the world and truly enjoy various cultures, foods and so many other things. We should be cautious but also be well aware of the fear mongerers and haters which are in plenty, because they are the ones who harm us more. Karl Rock makes good videos but to be frank he actually doesn't cover the good side of India because his videos are confined to that 5% of India which currently is not in a good shape. If you really want to see a glimpse of the 95% of India which is actually good then watch the India vlogs of "Ride with Frenchie". Anyhow, I was just trying to be objective in my comment, so hope you would take it positively. Have a nice day.

As a Doctoral student from India, I have never visited New Delhi it's too short to be called as "Capital" of this Country, rather than Mumbai which is larger than New Delhi. Next time if you do visit India try visiting:- Arunachal Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Blue City in Rajasthan not in Summers. Foreigners indeed are not used to Chaotic environment, but still we are vibrant. Europe is pretty boring for me except the Weather but I find Moscow attractive so I already spent around 1 Year stay in 2000, along with my Dad who is now a Mathematics Professor. People from Abroad are not used to feel:- Deadly Winters and Summers and seeing Stray Cows and dogs on streets because:- we don't kill Animals for food except Christians, Muslims and Sikhs. India is best for Tourists enjoying Luxuries at Cost-effective Budget as Compared to other Developed Nations, The Prices go beyond your Expectations offering same services, which I found Comical. Tourists are like Birds as they are free to go where ever you wanna go but precautions and proper Research about other places is absolutely necessary too. Hope you Enjoyed your trip in India, no Dis-respect for you. Your safety is in your hands, as you may encounter Good and Bad people everywhere.

As an indian, I travel in uber also has tuktuk like uber auto, then uber/ola cabs in delhi more than tuk tuk. You can guide the auto/tuktuk people with navigation from your google maps or ask them to put the location in their phone. Holi water balloon splashing in auto is not normal but sometimes happens. I think bangalore is better with two women an night, like areas around famous clubs or resturants should be fine.
i would always recommend visitors from another country to go out with a local guide (not a professional but someone who can show you the city like a local resident ) wayyy safer and they know routes and local places and food joints also.

Why you guys are not using taxi app ..like uber
Because there's the tourist cost and citizen cost.. plus theres no set price for their travel so they could of haggled for it to be alot more cheaper
watch karl rock he shows the good , bad and the ugly of india.
@@vipulgupta if have watched karl then you would see there are some good videos. But predominantly he shows how to be safe.
I disagree there are two charges even when going to visit attractions .Watch the video were karl gets a rickshaw. Then his wife does. And both get charged differently for the same destination
There are fake charity scammers, poo scammers people pretending to be poor and tell you what to buy instead of accepting any food . There are men that will try to grope women. Delhi is not safe for foreigners and particularly for women. I have traveled to Mumbai and Delhi. Mumbai felt safe after dark. But, Delhi feels dangerous. There's something about the men in Delhi, they appear suspicious, they act shady, they make offensive gestures, it's not a nice place. Being foreigners, we need to be honest about it and alert other travelers. I would never recommend a trip to Delhi, unless you have male friends to protect you.

Future NRI spotted..... Jis tarah se apni padhayi dikha raha hai or ladkiyo ki chaat raha hai jald he non reliable indian(NRI) banega yeh.
Acting like Hindus don’t eat chicken lol
This guy is the definition of ignorance
It's really nice to see the way you handled situations and as an Indian I feel sorry for the matter of safety and the behaviour of some mannerless people with you. Hope you had a wonderful time in India.
2:24 Susan was so positive: _I love that they keep on fighting_ 😅😆

That 'nake air' and 'dior' killed me 😭😂😂😂. And I bought that kind of Jordan once for 5$ it stayed in good condition for 1 month only 😢😅😂. 20:18 they are making Kolkata style Indo-Chinese food like that just you saw that was kathi roll , and chawmin, probably some pakoras and Manchurian may be.
A small advice to both the talented vloggers:- Next time which ever place you visit mak sure to visit temple first of that area so that the subtle system of yours synchronise with surrounding energies and u will be all calm and happy after wards. No stranger feelings
Maybe that's what the rapists should do!
What a absurd thing to say..

Thanks For coming in India
I'm from Delhi and it's a fact that Delhi is not safe for girls. We cannot go alone outside in the night. It's become scary aftr sunset😢😢 and this is a part of our life, very shameful
Your voice is addictive
haha yay!
I agree we need to crackdown on scammers, educate masses in tourist areas and keep cities clean and hygienic if we want to be good host.

Hey Susan , DELHI is not a part of any state as you mentioned at 0:18 😢 . DELHI is a Union territory and as a whole called DELHI - NCR !!! 😊 Hope you enjoyed my Beloved city ❤
Have you heard from them… it’s very scary and sort that out first.

Use Delhi Metro, Uber Cab & Uber Auto Rikshaws for commuting in Delhi. You can do bargaining auto rikshaw drivers.
Actually Delhi is pronounced DELLY not DAY-LY. And don't be confused by the name New Delhi, but it's not because it was recently made as you thought, "New" Delhi was made it 1931, because Old Dehli is hundreds of years old.
Its Delhi di-lli then britisher named it Delly, same as Thakur to Tagore
India tips:
1. You can always book an Uber/OLA/Rapido for commute, that way you won't be scammed as many Auto driver charge extra sometimes.
2. Use Metro instead of Autos if you're in cities like Delhi/Mumbai/Bangalore
3. Many people stare in India, people are just curious, but still stay vigilant as you'd be in any city
enjoy!!!
I they asked her 150 rupees which
Id normal to take for 100-150 km ! So you plz didn’t say auto drivers do scam lol ! If you an Indian mind before writing
