I had the same problem with this TNS product. I resolved it by taking the white lid that you press down to dispense the product OFF. Then I pressed down on the side that wasn't working until the product came up and put the white lid back on. Make sure your finger is completely on center to press down. This did work for me. I hope this explanation is clear enough.
Wish you went into more details about its performance. Please elaborate on how long it took to see results? What were the other three products that made the biggest difference? How does this product compare to the other effective products?
I have been using SkinMedica TNS Advanced Serum for about 6 months now (using only at night). I can tell you my personal experience has been amazing!! It IS expensive but worth it IMO and I have tried many, many other products! If I could find a dupe I would use it but so far nothing beats this product for results. (p.s. I have not had the package flaking experience…)
@@NOBSBeauty I will look for a sale before purchasing my next package for sure! Thank you for the video! I’m glad the product works great for you too! 💕
@ purplesky3053: You’re absolutely right. It really does work but the bottle drives me nuts! Sometimes the serum comes out of both holes, or the lotion does 🤦🏼♀️ I’ve tried troubleshooting like the site said to do and I wasted a ton of lotion and serum. I think we’re mostly paying for the name since as you probably know it’s made by Allegen. I do get Botox & love Botox but $300 plus is crazy expensive. I really need to find other brands that aren’t as much as SkinMedica TNS Advanced + Serum.

Great video as always . We can get Human Growth Factor skin care in the U.K. . I’ve tried a few and I must say I do like them . I did try this one called Reluma and I used it all over my face and around my eyes !! Well my eye lashes grew and grew and grew ! People kept on saying to me what’s going on with those eye lashes ! As a male I didn’t really like the look of false looking lashes . About 6 months after I stopped applying the serum around my eyes they went back to normal !! Crazy
Haha. That’s awesome! I have used TNS on and off for years but the pump chamber bottle is awful. Do you still use Reluma? Also, where do you buy it? I’m in the U.K. too. Thanks so much! 😊
SkinMedica is just sooo expensive. I can’t bring myself to pay that much when there are so many other great products out there. Really great review. Thanks, girlie🍃🌸
Great and honest review as always! Human growthfactors are not allowed in Sweden where I live so I would love to know about a great dupe for that. But then, how can a plant based one work on human skin? A plant is a plant and human skin is different. I might be completely wrong of course.... 💚
Hi Sarah it's just so expensive and I'm not sure about EGF in general tbh. I'm fitzpatrick one with freckles and blond hair, so even without a family history of skin cancer my risk is slightly higher than others. I have never been a sun worshipper (even when I was young and being tanned was seen as being healthy), as I got prickly heat, headaches, went red and back to white with no tan etc. We weren't as aware of the need for spf and I only wore it March to October (in the UK where there isn't much actual sun in the Winter), so I have some sun damage I'm using tretinoin to help with. That accumulated sun damage does increase my chances of skin cancer and EGF worries me slightly for that reason. I did do a bit of my own research and the lack of long term studies, plus the increased risks meant I just haven't been desperate to try it. Retinoids, peptides and antioxidants have tons of research behind them, but tbh brand research is often biased and not always reliable as the only source of info. I'm glad you got results after spending the money, but it's a no for me I'm afraid. The packaging issues are outrageous for that price as well. I believe this brand is under the L'oreal umbrella, so I'm unsure if it meets strict CF criteria - very much depending on how stringent people are re this. All in all interesting review though and as always good information given. Best wishes.
Hi there! You could look into EGF boosting ingredients such as orchid stem cells which I think only boosts growth factors and nothing else but I’m not sure… definitely look into it more but just a idea 😊
Great review. I stop buying the original TNS growth factor years ago because of the packaging. It's terrible and I can't believe that they have not even tried to change it.
I do love this product and will continue to use it. However, I agree that the price and the packaging are too much. Great video, and I will stay tuned. I am interested in the alternative for TNS and your evaluation of it. Again, great video and detailed explanations. Thank you! Kathleen
Off topic but just wanted to share that Mychelle has a "light" version of the tinted sun shield on ulta! I just got it and it's much better for my skintone than the light/medium
So I watch Elle Leary and she mentioned the issues with charlotte tilbury and hourglass. I'm a big fan of yours and always refer to you videos when interested in a new product to see what your ideas are. You've spoken about Purito, Susan Yara and Naturium I was wondering can you do a video about those products and their issues??
Maybe SkinMedica TNS Ceramide Treatment Cream is worth trying. The Human Fibroblast Conditioned Media is the 5th ingredient in the cream. But it’s just a fraction of the cost for the serum.
I just turned 38 and I opened that for my birthday present to myself along with Charlotte Tilbury Magic cream. I've had both for awhile but it was so hard for me to open and try them because they're so expensive. I absolutely love beanie boos btw!! With the serum you have to push down right in the middle it can't be on the side. Only the clear one was coming out for me when I 1st started I didn't even know there were 2 different ones until the 3rd time I used it
Hi, just found your video as I bought this serum on Black Friday but have not started using it yet. Thanks for a good review. I wonder how I should use this? Can I layer it with any of my excisting skincare? (I alternate a Retinol serum and a Glycolic Acid every other night, using Hyaluronic serum on top of my Retinol and Azelaic acid on top of Glycol acid - before moisturizer on both) Daytime I use a vitamin C-serum. Thanks! :-)
So glad you found me here! This product is such an amazing product- I noticed results within a couple of weeks. I found it is really to add right into your routine without having to change much. If you have drier skin you can probably just add this in, if you have oilier skin you might want to use this instead of a moisturizer. I found I liked using it in my evening routine- I'd apply it right after cleansing, toning, and serums. You can certainly use this morning and evening, but I found it lasted longer and had the same effects using it only at night. I think if you use your hyaluronic serum, then apply the TNS, then follow with your retinol and azelaic acid/glycolic acid and then moisturizer it should work just fine. You could certainly also use it in the morning if you prefer- I'd recommend applying your vitamin c serum first, then the TNS over that. Hope this helps! I hope you have as nice of results with this as I did- it is a game changer!
@@latherandlace revivserums.com/collections/facial-serums/products/ultimate-serum Honestly it's still too expensive for me. Penn Smith has an even better dupe from Bradceuticals and you can get that from amazon.
And you cannot use it if you've had skin cancer which I do. Every influencer I've heard discuss it said not to use if you have skin cancer. Not worth risk or price. One influencer buys hers off eBay and she said it's a reputable dealer. AC11 Catalyst is a product that supposedly does similar things but is safe for skin cancer people.
I am curious if you ever going to do review of Skinnies sunscreen - simply because they claim only a pea size of it is needed for spf50 for all face and neck... :)
If you don’t prime the bottle first BEFORE 1st use (turn upside down and hit the bottle a few times) then it won’t pump properly. Don’t see why that’s such a big deal.
Agreed, if it is primed properly there is never a problem with the delivery of product. And she also complained about the silver flakes.. I never let my product reach the silver packaging so I’ve never had that happen either..
It depends on how sensitive your skin is, but the general rule is not to. Adapalene can be pretty tough on some skin types so it is safer not to use it with other retinoids unless you are using it alternating nights.
Ooh yes- So there are a few similar products - the Osmosis Growth Factor Serum contains the same active ingredients in it. The other one is the Revive Ulimate Growth Serum. I also love the SkinMedica TNS Ceramide Cream- it also contains the human fibroblast conditioned media a bit futher down the ingredients list but it costs around $60 which is more affordable than the TNS serum but works about the same.
