I'm not trying to insult you at all. I just wish you would have showed more. The best price I found to have the job done by a mechanic was 500.00 in labor and that's not including the mounts!
1. Jack the vehicle up 2. Unbolt the 4 mount motor nuts that are on the studs their are 2 for each side. 3. Get your jack and put a block of wood between the jack head and the oil pan then jack up on the oil pan. 4. Remove the two 10mm bolts that holds on the heat shield. 5. Depending on what side you are on remove the bolts that mount the engine mount to the engine. The passenger side you will remove the alternator bracket. 6. Reverse everything you did to install.

Bro I have been thinking how in the hell I will I do it. I was scared bending the oil pan. Also my engine lifts on revs. I found out the idiots that rebuild my engine did not tighten the bolts one came off and one was lose.
No issues at all with the jack stand placement bro? My pinch welds are all rusty and don't have much faith to place the stands there so wondering if it's safe enough to put them on that same spot where you placed your stands
@@theknow7557 Oil drops? Yea I just had that problem. It was like 3 weeks of small drops and just last week it was larger puddles. Took it in and mechanic said was oil filter and replaced it. But he said it’s also my mount and water pump. So idk. He said when you hear a hard clank when you put it in reverse or drive sometimes. That’s the motor mount. He said one was already off when I got it cause I never took it in, and he said the front is damaged.
I just found out my passenger side is leaking now 😂 and here I am looking at one of the only decent videos but sadly your car isn't 4wd like mine or you'd have all the extra crap I got to remove just to get to it
Annddddd a loud clunk when u have a hard acceleration from a stop or low speeds. I thought if was my diff but everything checked out and it’s just the motor mounts

How many engine mounts are on the van? Should you replace them all if one is gone?
Im not sure about the van but I would replace them all if one is worn.

@@2tooful may be similar but with any motor mount replacement the engine needs to be lifted or supported because the engine sits on those mounts

At the time I believe I got them off ebay. You can also call your local dodge dealership and ask if they have them in stock.

Nick SRT some signs are vibrations sometimes clunking noises and if you look at the engine while applying the gas and it lifts too much.
