I’m 15, and my high school XC team has a very thorough warmup routine (at least half a mile and then 10-15 minutes of dynamic stretching.) it can feel silly sometimes, but people often don’t put enough emphasis on warming up and cooling down correctly

😂 I don't these stretches today before doing a 10k run, by 7k I felt like a muscle was on fire 😮 but it was my first time and I might have done them poorly. Another thing is, I haven't run properly for 3 months now, only doing once in a while. I'll do it again to see the benefits.

Honestly man, I was a runner before I joined the army. I’m just starting to get back into running again. Just try running without a goal set time limits instead, run for 10 mins, then 15 mins, then 30 mins then after you can run comfortably for 30 mins and hold a conversation start doing distances, like a fast paced 1-3 miles
