Set down your phone, shut off your computer, tuck away your planner, and reconnect with everything that does light a fire in your soul. Spend time in nature to reacquaint yourself with the towering trees, the soft grass, and the mirroring lakes. Spend time with the ones you love without distraction. Be with them with only intention of simply being present with them. Spend time reading or painting, walking or dancing - the things that slow down time for you and allow you to reconnect.

"I thank you for the time you have given me to know you" that part hit different. If Jesus had come back a few months ago I would have been on my way to hell. I even left Christianity temporarily. But He chased my heart down and brought me back even though I sinned and actually passed judgement on HIM. If anyone is wanting to come back to the Lord but is burdened by guilt I want you to know that He wants you to come back even more than you want to come back. His loving arms are always open. You don't understand how much I needed this. I couldn't focus on my schoolwork for the majority of today and lost control, watching video after video. By the goodness and faithfulness of God I successfully defended my difficult masters thesis, which I was working on at the time of writing my above comment, and it was basically the main reason for my stress. But God kept me through it and took me through that phase of my life where I just wanted out. Now I'm trying to finish up the semester with my remaining classes and graduate, so my struggle isn't over but I'm still trusting that God will come through like before. I know that God will keep you and won't let you fall in this time as long as you continue to trust that He's more than capable to provide for you. I'll definitely pray for you! This is genius. Literally last night I was listening to lofi and thinking “is there something like christian lofi music?” But I thought it was silly to even try and search because lofi doesn’t even have lyrics. It was really cool to see this in my recommended today. The prayer at the start was so helpful... I’ve been struggling to find my words in prayers and the guidance really helps. I’m laying in my bed and I’m so anxious rn but this is so comforting. Pray to the Lord about your anxiety! He cares about you and you may feel better once you tell him. I struggle with anxiety also, it’s to the point where I stiffen my neck and every time I come home from school my neck hurts to the point where I have to lay down. But God is bigger than our struggles, there is no need to worry! May our Heavenly Father help you with your anxiety and uncertainties!
Same here! I’ve been worried about the past for me though 😅. I’ve done a lot of dumb things and it’s hard for me to accept that I “AM” forgiven and not “WAS” forgiven. Praying G-d lights your way and shows you are and will be where you need to be ❤️.
This helped me a lot thank you. Recently i’ve been drifting from God and been more and more sinful. Ive come back to read the bible and live by him but I’ve been struggling with my appearance and my confidence has been low. I’ve been getting into bad/ Lazy/ Sloth like habits not feeling as if i can take care of myself. Knowing God was here the whole time watching me drift, Just to come back makes me feel sad that he was here this entire time watching me starve/ Harm myself just because i didn’t want to leave my room. I've been going through the same thing lately struggling to reconnect with God I so happened to find this video and while looking for music to draw with I like having contact with people, seeing them smile and hear there voice (even though I'm introverted lol) but I can't hear his voice yet, feel him or see him intill I get to the gates of heaven so for now I just have to believe My mom saids sometimes it can be hard for Christians to keep there connections with God but you just can't lose faith your prayer realy spoke out to me and for the first time in a while I felt connected with God Even if I couldn't physically see him or feel him I felt A unknown feeling but I liked that feeling your comment had inspired me to try even harder to maintain my connection with the Lord so Thankyou for exsiting and don't forget to love your self :) easier said than done lol Sincerely, A Random person on the internet
hey it sounds like you might have mental health struggles as opposed to laziness. not that they cant coexist, but you might find improvement if you seek treatment. Christian counselors/therapists exist and they can help you if you let them do so
it's been a year, and I hope you are doing better, just a reminder :) though somethimes we drift, and when we try to pray we feel guilty, but why? "Never limit your prayers because you think you're sinful or undeserving. You're not praying because of who you are, you're praying because of who He is." God is a loving God, so don't let your insecurities block you from receiving that love that He has for you. Just take a moment to process that. go, if you can, open your Bible, sit down, and just let it all out. everything, take your cries to Him. God saved me and gave me new life, I am unworthy but he is a powerful loving God. He listed to my prayers for healing and renewing of my life and answered them. He moved all the pieces into place when there was no way possible. Praise Jesus, Jesus is King!
Im losing focus cause my "pron" addictions try weigh heavy. I have adhd,im forgetful, distracted easily, its hard for me yet the lord said not to limit myself just because im disabled? Is it because he makes the impossible possible? Maybe my faiths been cut to pieces so i just need to be encouraged again. Please pray for me. Lord please fill me up with the strength to push on further. My mind is weaker than everyone elses minded, i cant handle these challenges but i dont want to give up. Hi, I feel led by the Holy Spirit to tell you to meditate on 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 which talks about strongholds. You’re facing strongholds that seem impossible to be pulled down. Good news, you don’t have to be strong enough to resist temptation/distractions all on your own. All you have to do is find the exit (Jesus) and pray to Him. What I’ve learned about strongholds, at least in my particular struggles, is that strongholds will last for as long as you are willing to tolerate it (i.e. inappropriate humor, intrusive thoughts, unGodly feelings, or any sin). Hope this helps a ton. Also Jesus said, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness” (see 2 Corinthians 12:9).
Hello! I dont know the full extent of your struggles or pain but i want to say a few things even if its the exact thing you need or not. Fighting and continuing to move forward is not supposed to be done from our own strength but from God's. Its not about us fighting or doing anything because we cant do anything without Him. Dont blame yourself if you fail or stumble when you try to do something because you werent supposed to do it by yourself from the start. What we sometimes need is simply rest and healing. Sometimes people around us call us lazy or judge us from the way we live but they dont actually see that the way live comes from actually spiritual hurt, burn-out and tiredness. What i mean by healing and resting is genuinely sitting down and letting yourself not think or worry about work, school, problems etc. Its about sitting still and waiting for God to do what he thinks is best at the right time. Take an actual break from doing the things you have to do and take an actual break from thinking about them and overthinking about them. Whatever we do is supposed to come from overflow and pressure and worry prevents overflow. God knows your pain, sees your pain and cries for and with you(not the human type of way crying idk how to explain itwqefrg) We are also not supposed to fight in the first place because there is nothing left for us to fight. God already won. There is no battle field since He's already done everything. Its about receiving His love and grace. The way you react to things or the sins you might be doing are most probably actually coming from hurt and pain, coping mechanism to try and keep you going. God sees and God understands. God loves and heals. He has already won. You are already free and you already have the Holy Spirit. He lives within you and He delights in you. You are a new, regenerated being and you are no longer of this earth. You are His and He is yours and nor you or any christian is alone because of that. I hope you're ok and i wish you the best. God knows and God sees. You are loved.
JESUS died for our sins the cross, HE shed HIS holy, innocent, precious blood for us (HIS blood washes away ALL sins) HE was buried but on the third day GOD raised HIM from the dead. All you have to do to be saved is: Believe in JESUS, trust in HIS blood. JESUS did everything for you, no works are required for salvation (Ephesians 2:8-9)

You can pour your problems or feelings out to God, and then remain silent afterward. Like Dr Charles Stanley says in his sermons, prayer is a dialogue! Also, God will not condemn you for coming to Him. Please don't be ashamed. God has been very very merciful and loving with me. I know He'll be with you too!
this literally felt like when someone completes your sentence when you don't know with what to complete it by yourself 18 Aug. 2022: Back after one year. I have been trough many things. I have been haunted by demons, fallen, sinned, viewed things the wrong way and looked at my strenght rather than God's strenght. Now i am back awake and well in Christ again. I am loved, unblamable, forgiven, delighted in and a saint in Gods eyes. I know who i am. God has woke me up again. God is trully amazing. He has made me realise that i am not bound to sin, that my spirit is in heaven even if i dont feel Him with me, and that the Holy spirit is in me even if i dont feel it. I followed feeling because i felt a lot. Deep emotions i can't describe and won't get into. I have given up on my addictions and trying to install good habits in my life. I know that if i fall i will get back up and repent and i will be forgiven by Him. He loves me and when i sin He sees it as if im acting out of character. I am so at peace to know all of these things. I pray to God that he shall bless you and heal your wounds and make you understand trully His love. He loves you. A lot. The pain of His son was enormeous. Even trough a modern medical point of view. I reccomend you to search "The crucifixion of Jesus trough a medical point of view." One of the things that it is talked about there is that Romans would have these big wooden weapons that they would whip on the persons back while they are chained. Not only that but the weapon has something simmilar to the thing you catch a fish with at its end so when they'd whip a person they could tear trough skin, bone and muscle. And the fact that the person would have to carry a big heavy cross with splinters on open wounds and exposed muscle is chilling. Birds would pick on the muscle, eyes and wounds while the person couldn't do anything. And lets not start about how they'd have to breathe. Jesuses death was not only great but painful in many ways. I thank Jesus for dying for us. If He wouldn't have done that i would have had to carry my cross exactly that way. I am a 14 year old christian girl and i hope that i grow more and more in Christ. Crying releases good chemicals in the brain and helps bring your analytical side back in balance (stress can shut that side of us down a bit). Jesus cried in the garden of Gethsemane before he was Crucified Not only did God provide a provision in a sinful world of crying to comfort us and help us think despite stress. He had Christ model for us what a Christlike response to grief is. Shame around crying (when appropriate) is not from the Lord but the enemy. Never be ashamed of how the Lord created things in your human nature to help/heal you.
Please pray from me... I believe that Christ died on the cross for me... But I still struggle with my happiness.. Im not happy. I am constantly hurt by the ones I love and hold close.. I think to myself... If Christ was able to go through betrayal why cant I? I feel weak. And hurt. Please pray that I am able to overcome this pain... This temptation.. And stronger my relationship with Christ.
This prayer at the beginnig was just what I needed! I have been worrying about a lot of things recenty and didn't know what to do. I cried when I read the prayer, because peace came into my worried heart and exhausted mind! I needed to shift my focus of me unto Jesus! He gives hope and He cares! I started cryin wit that prayer in the start. I've been so stressed because I need to graduate in a week and my grades are horrible. If I don't graduate, I can't go to boot camp and I'll be discharged from the Marine Corps. I've been feeling so negative and angry and hopeless, and the stress has been piling on top. I have lived thousands of miracles thank God... but the most recently is healing my mom of Pulmonary Fibrosis, practically, fibrosis just stop and decreased instead ... in the first chest x-ray you can clearly see how much damaged were the lungs of my mom and after 3 months you can see the second chest x-ray and.... wow. fibrosis just stop increasing and decreased instead... My mom has continued servicing to God every day at church and it is just Incredible... and believe me when I say, i have lived thousand of miracles thank God... God Bless You Guys!

The time I wrote this comment was 3 months ago, I was feeling a lot of doubt, pressure, stress and loneliness during that time. I was able to get to know God more, and I went to a camp during summer, and I got saved there. Accepted Jesus Christ as my savior, I technically am living for Christ fully now, cut off all my secular music (that was a huge problem for me), and am getting baptized soon! Once again, everyone, tysm for praying for me and helping me, im truly grateful to you all and I love you all so much for doing this. By the goodness and faithfulness of God I successfully defended my difficult masters thesis, which I was working on at the time of writing my above comment, and it was basically the main reason for my stress. But God kept me through it and took me through that phase of my life where I just wanted out. Now I'm trying to finish up the semester with my remaining classes and graduate, so my struggle isn't over but I'm still trusting that God will come through like before. I know that God will keep you and won't let you fall in this time as long as you continue to trust that He's more than capable to provide for you. I'll definitely pray for you! Literally last night I was listening to lofi and thinking “is there something like christian lofi music?” But I thought it was silly to even try and search because lofi doesn’t even have lyrics. It was really cool to see this in my recommended today. The prayer at the start was so helpful... I’ve been struggling to find my words in prayers and the guidance really helps. I’m laying in my bed and I’m so anxious rn but this is so comforting. I struggle with anxiety also, it’s to the point where I stiffen my neck and every time I come home from school my neck hurts to the point where I have to lay down. I've been going through the same thing lately struggling to reconnect with God I so happened to find this video and while looking for music to draw with I like having contact with people, seeing them smile and hear there voice (even though I'm introverted lol) but I can't hear his voice yet, feel him or see him intill I get to the gates of heaven so for now I just have to believe My mom saids sometimes it can be hard for Christians to keep there connections with God but you just can't lose faith your prayer realy spoke out to me and for the first time in a while I felt connected with God Even if I couldn't physically see him or feel him I felt A unknown feeling but I liked that feeling your comment had inspired me to try even harder to maintain my connection with the Lord so Thankyou for exsiting and don't forget to love your self :) easier said than done lol

hey it sounds like you might have mental health struggles as opposed to laziness. not that they cant coexist, but you might find improvement if you seek treatment. Christian counselors/therapists exist and they can help you if you let them do so

Hi, I feel led by the Holy Spirit to tell you to meditate on 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 which talks about strongholds. You’re facing strongholds that seem impossible to be pulled down. Good news, you don’t have to be strong enough to resist temptation/distractions all on your own. All you have to do is find the exit (Jesus) and pray to Him. What I’ve learned about strongholds, at least in my particular struggles, is that strongholds will last for as long as you are willing to tolerate it (i.e. inappropriate humor, intrusive thoughts, unGodly feelings, or any sin). Hope this helps a ton. Also Jesus said, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness” (see 2 Corinthians 12:9).
Hello! I dont know the full extent of your struggles or pain but i want to say a few things even if its the exact thing you need or not. Fighting and continuing to move forward is not supposed to be done from our own strength but from God's. Its not about us fighting or doing anything because we cant do anything without Him. Dont blame yourself if you fail or stumble when you try to do something because you werent supposed to do it by yourself from the start. What we sometimes need is simply rest and healing. Sometimes people around us call us lazy or judge us from the way we live but they dont actually see that the way live comes from actually spiritual hurt, burn-out and tiredness. What i mean by healing and resting is genuinely sitting down and letting yourself not think or worry about work, school, problems etc. Its about sitting still and waiting for God to do what he thinks is best at the right time. Take an actual break from doing the things you have to do and take an actual break from thinking about them and overthinking about them. Whatever we do is supposed to come from overflow and pressure and worry prevents overflow. God knows your pain, sees your pain and cries for and with you(not the human type of way crying idk how to explain itwqefrg) We are also not supposed to fight in the first place because there is nothing left for us to fight. God already won. There is no battle field since He's already done everything. Its about receiving His love and grace. The way you react to things or the sins you might be doing are most probably actually coming from hurt and pain, coping mechanism to try and keep you going. God sees and God understands. God loves and heals. He has already won. You are already free and you already have the Holy Spirit. He lives within you and He delights in you. You are a new, regenerated being and you are no longer of this earth. You are His and He is yours and nor you or any christian is alone because of that. I hope you're ok and i wish you the best. God knows and God sees. You are loved.
JESUS died for our sins the cross, HE shed HIS holy, innocent, precious blood for us (HIS blood washes away ALL sins) HE was buried but on the third day GOD raised HIM from the dead. All you have to do to be saved is: Believe in JESUS, trust in HIS blood. JESUS did everything for you, no works are required for salvation (Ephesians 2:8-9)

You can pour your problems or feelings out to God, and then remain silent afterward. Like Dr Charles Stanley says in his sermons, prayer is a dialogue! Also, God will not condemn you for coming to Him. Please don't be ashamed. God has been very very merciful and loving with me. I know He'll be with you too!

Back after one year. I have been trough many things. I have been haunted by demons, fallen, sinned, viewed things the wrong way and looked at my strenght rather than God's strenght. Now i am back awake and well in Christ again. I am loved, unblamable, forgiven, delighted in and a saint in Gods eyes. I know who i am. God has woke me up again. God is trully amazing. He has made me realise that i am not bound to sin, that my spirit is in heaven even if i dont feel Him with me, and that the Holy spirit is in me even if i dont feel it. I followed feeling because i felt a lot. Deep emotions i can't describe and won't get into. I have given up on my addictions and trying to install good habits in my life. I know that if i fall i will get back up and repent and i will be forgiven by Him. He loves me and when i sin He sees it as if im acting out of character. I am so at peace to know all of these things. I pray to God that he shall bless you and heal your wounds and make you understand trully His love. He loves you. A lot. The pain of His son was enormeous. Even trough a modern medical point of view. I reccomend you to search "The crucifixion of Jesus trough a medical point of view." One of the things that it is talked about there is that Romans would have these big wooden weapons that they would whip on the persons back while they are chained. Not only that but the weapon has something simmilar to the thing you catch a fish with at its end so when they'd whip a person they could tear trough skin, bone and muscle. And the fact that the person would have to carry a big heavy cross with splinters on open wounds and exposed muscle is chilling. Birds would pick on the muscle, eyes and wounds while the person couldn't do anything. And lets not start about how they'd have to breathe. Jesuses death was not only great but painful in many ways. I thank Jesus for dying for us. If He wouldn't have done that i would have had to carry my cross exactly that way. I am a 14 year old christian girl and i hope that i grow more and more in Christ. Amen :)

Crying releases good chemicals in the brain and helps bring your analytical side back in balance (stress can shut that side of us down a bit).
Jesus cried in the garden of Gethsemane before he was Crucified
Not only did God provide a provision in a sinful world of crying to comfort us and help us think despite stress. He had Christ model for us what a Christlike response to grief is. Shame around crying (when appropriate) is not from the Lord but the enemy. Never be ashamed of how the Lord created things in your human nature to help/heal you.

I started cryin wit that prayer in the start. I've been so stressed because I need to graduate in a week and my grades are horrible. If I don't graduate, I can't go to boot camp and I'll be discharged from the Marine Corps. I've been feeling so negative and angry and hopeless, and the stress has been piling on top. I have lived thousands of miracles thank God... but the most recently is healing my mom of Pulmonary Fibrosis, practically, fibrosis just stop and decreased instead ... in the first chest x-ray you can clearly see how much damaged were the lungs of my mom and after 3 months you can see the second chest x-ray and.... wow. fibrosis just stop increasing and decreased instead... My mom has continued servicing to God every day at church and it is just Incredible... and believe me when I say, i have lived thousand of miracles thank God... God Bless You Guys!
