Motorised valve not working No heating or hot water.

When you find you only have heating when the hot water is turned on or vice versa, or just #no heating or #hot water when there should be, suspect the 3 or 2 #port valve. Why you should run your heating in the summer for just half an hour a week.

I've got f+e CH and HW system, my motorized valve was not working, but I had both HW and CH when switched on. After a drain down I've got red hot radiators but no hot water (running but not hot).
Could you suggest why & how to fix?
Would changing the motorized head fix this or could it be airlock?

More than likely air, but to check it is not the motorised valve switch it to manual if you get hot water to the tank then it is the valve, if not it is an airlock.

Unfortunately the switch on my motorized valve is broken so am unable to do that. I've always had HW previously even though it was broken.
If this is air causing an issue, is there a trick to clearing it from the tank?
I've watched lots of your vids which are amazingly helpful but haven't seen an explanation of how to remove air from inside the hot water cylinder area. Any help would be appreciated

Hi, I've replaced the diverter valve but it's not helped. Checking the grey/white wire shouldnt the boiler be giving off 24v? Ive no volts. Naughty boiler?
