I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE your tiny house!! I'm a mom to 2 girls (one a freshman in college and one a sophomore in HS) and wifey of 20 years. I cannot wait to downsize our home. I am a minimalist living in a rather large house and it stresses me out. Hubby promised me when the youngest goes off to college we would start to look for a smaller house. I'd love something 1200sq ft or less. He on the other hand wants more room. It's the whole, "the girls need a place to come back to" mentality, but do they ever really come back?? Leslie in MD
Hi Leslie! I understand the stress factor. When we lived in our 3000 sq ft home I felt stressed out and overwhelmed all of the time! It's been so freeing to say goodbye to the things we don't need--including the extra space. We have two boys (nearly 19 and nearly 25). They're both 6' and make do in our guest loft when they come home. Plus, there's the couch if they're both home at the same time. Good luck on your journey to downsizing! I hope you'll find it as wonderful as I have! 💕
