That's a really strong French horn section
Conducted this my freshman year. Such a beautiful piece. :D
I must say, Lakota West is an incredible group. My high school has a great band too (North Royalton), but every time we saw them it was amazing.
just played this piece. probably my all time favorite piece of music yet
great job!
The highschool band I'm in is playing this price and I love it
I did this my freshman year
Thanks OhioBandDad for putting this up on here. West Chester is around 50 miles south of where I grew up in Ohio. And the name of the school is reflective of where I live now in S. Dakota. It is a really great h.s. band.
Great performance! It was a joy to see you guys perform over at Rutgers last Spring. Keep up the great work!! I hope I get to teach a band as good as this one day!!
There's a few of us doing that.
Excellent playing, my wind ensembles going to play this next week for MPA. Great job.
Hurray! I have a recording of the Lakota West Symphonic Winds doing this piece from an earlier time (probably 2006-2008) but it cuts out probably around 9:30 in this video. Now I know how it actually ends! :)
