Thank you for the wonderful video and great quality. As beautiful as it is to watch this video it’s obvious Roger is not moving anywhere close to his prime starting 10 years before in 2004. Which he sustained unmatched for almost 5 years straight. The records of most grand slams will repeatedly be broken someday as tennis careers get longer. But Federer’s peak performance records in his prime will never be touched when his younger athleticism and defensive skills almost matched his velociraptor offense and instincts. Nobody will ever touch Federer reaching 18 of 19 CONSECUTIVE slam finals AND 237 straight weeks as #1 in his prime, that’s over 4.5+ years straight dominance. Even if someone does, it will be with a 2 handed backhand and western or semi western grip because there will never be another talent and skill of Federer to do it with the beautiful game and classic grips and strokes we all enjoy so much to watch and experience. Thank you again for this video.
@@shreerambhat1442 really more like enjoying another wonderful video of Federer. Novak and Nadal fans are lucky to have the videos to watch when all 3 retire. Most of the videos have and will have Federer winning of course because Federer fans are the vast majority and he’s more enjoyable entertaining and beautiful to watch.
@@thehunter6563 I respect and accept your right to your opinion and preference. The fact is Alcaraz admits Federer inspired him, not Nadal. And Federer attracted more celebrities and millions of non tennis fans to watch and enjoy his game and beautiful strokes and movements. Tiger Woods, Michael Jordan, Will Smith, Bill Gates just to name a few. Federer and his game is most often described as effortless. Let’s see how many ovations and videos set to music are created and watched of Alcaraz. There are plenty of Federer made and watched millions of times over even while he was still playing. Given the choice we would love to play like Federer but none of us have talent so most pursue the professional game with a two hand backhand a western forehand and only occasionally go forward to the net.
Great depth from both players in the 1st set. Just awesome to see them slug it out from the baseline. Federer saving those 2 set points with aggressive plays was amazing.
EVERY time Djokovic loses there is something behind according to his stans. But when others do they are chokers. Just love your idol, accept defeats and other's greatness and be respectful. Not much to ask.
Djokovic looked quite good in the first set. Actually I’m surprised he didn’t take it. And at 5-5, he really looked hurt on that last forehand. That is true, but it is him who wanted to play the match. He could’ve retired before then.

Haven't seen this match since it happened. Thank you so much.
You're welcome!
Similar to Roland Garros 2011, this was a kind of pyrrhic victory for Federer. He won this match, but he lost the match for the title.
Thanks for Upload!

10:17 what a rally!
Outrageous level of tennis in the first set
Can you do 2015 wimby?
Roger is the goat on all surfaces. With his high powered one handed backhand which is according to legend the mark of a true champion.
He is not the goat on all surfaces LOL
@AlexisNess-mn4zw one handed backhand =true champion.. facts
@@tennisfan599One handed backhand is for class clown losers who just want to be flashy but have no achievements.
