The last point is spot on. We graduated slowly from being called "Babies" by Evra to "Not having Cajones" by Troy Deeney to "Master of Dark Arts" by the media and now to "still going to bottle it" by rival fans. There is a sense of jealousy and fear from our rival fans and I'm loving it.
Completely agree with the final point, also seen a lot more rival fans try to start the narrative that our best players will all be Madrid-bound by the end of the season, they've stopped trying to pick faults in what we do and started trying to wish our key players away.
Gabriel has always been influential in the attack and went unnoticed even by our own fans. In 21/22, especially in the comebacks, he would be playing so high up the pitch almost looking like a left 8. Maybe its because he would keep it ticking and find short passes high up the pitch instead of launching long passes from the back that even our own fans thought he wasnt good on the ball. Thats why the narrative from even our fanbase last season, that Mikel benched him because he wasnt good enough on the ball was so frustrating. Hes been trusted to play high risk football for 3 seasons now.
Amazing take, I won't lie I do feel as if some commentators and media do tend to have a bias against us, but you are spot on. We are back and putting everyone on notice.
Where you been bro?! I've been waiting patiently after every Arsenal game for your upload 😂 ( all jokes aside I appreiciate your quality and i'm all for quality > quantity 👍)
Honestly, Martin and merino being injured has really forced arsenal to adapt and i think in a good way. Being able to cover those positions and giving experience to squad players. Getting defenders experience playing in more midfield roles (cala and timber). Forcing Trossard to become that create spark, and Kai to press like martin does. Excited for the season ahead once everyone is fit again and can play in multiple positions.
Feeling very self-satisfied that my most recent Arsenal jersey has Gabriel's name on it. The guy is just incredible and your content, along with others, helped me see that.
If we have to argue over which of our two CBs are the best in Europe, we’re in great shape at the back. I want that same kind of energy in the front line now
There actually is a media agenda against Arsenal and has been for decades and the reason is simple: The media is disproportionately representative of Man U, Liverpool and Tottenham fans. A 'media agenda' does not mean that every facet & participant of 'the media' must be in on it, nor that it's some edict from on high. It simply means that there is disproportionate bias; all are not represented equally.
The Ref Michael Oliver is not influenced by hate for Arsenal - it's for the tens of thousands he gets from the City owners to referee matches in Saudi...
I remember when Debruyne said in an interview after getting us pumped " they remind me of us years ago" that might have come off as a compliment to some, but that was a straight punch in the gut. More like "calm down Lil bros, we still own you 😅. How the narrative has now changed all of a sudden
Gabriel has been better than saliba this year. Last year saliba was greater. This is only better for arsenal that they both have their talent elevated by each other
Yea I agree witj you..that we seem to not be willing to give Big Gabby his flowers.. We conviniently ignore that his arrival is what actually haralded the time of "great arsenal defense" ....he formed a great partnership with Ben White before Saliba came back.
Both the manager and the captain were asked last night why they are better at home than away - every statistic since the beginning of time has teams better at home than away so watch for that agenda coming :)
The transition from talking about corner screening to long switch passes was jarring. It felt like you had an organized list of points, but abandoned the organizational method halfway through the video. Great stuff in here, but I did a double take that took me out of it for a few moments.
That's not really true though; we've always heen disliked BY THE MEDIA, but typically been quite well liked amongst every day fans. That balance has shifted in the modern era, thanks to millions of fans who only interact with football online and have no idea about the history or culture but traditionally Arsenal are widely respected.
Nah the bias stuff is so gaslighting. It’s clear as anything. You have rival fans arguing the same point about our team and you’re claiming it’s cause we’re in an echo chamber? Tripling down like we’re being sensitive and you’re above it
Perhaps you could stand to increase the content a little. Even if it is half the time. It is a bit embarrassing to tune in to channels of other teams' fans for Arsenal content (since they know they can milk us for views)
"Every fans from top 6 would say the same about refereeing and that they are robbed". Not if they are FC 115 fans, to be honest, as they have had NOTHING to complain about in the past 3-4 years... Oh yeah, I forgot, they had that "crucial error" where they called an offside versus Tottenham and "robbed them of points" in a situation where JACK GREALISH needed to run half the field with 3 defenders on his back, where he would supposedly have scored... And yeah, if you're Haaland you can scream at Hooper's face if you're unhappy with that decision, but don't try to do it if you're not wearing FC 115 shirt...
I genuinely feel like Alex is the future Ornstein. Speaks affluently and intelligently. Doesn’t base his online presence from shit takes or baiting with garbage. And… his last name is Moneypenny. Which if a name tells you anything, he’s going to become big in the football scene. Cheers mate always enjoy your well thought out analysis and content.
@@kunimitsune177 good call out! that should read eloquently, not affluently. I’m not sure why that autocorrected to affluently it doesn’t even make sense in the context
Am I the only one who is feeling a bit disconnect with football, I don't if its the number of games, or the media around football, but I find myself losing interest in the game.

Can't believe I am watching 4 mins after upload. It is official, I am not a neutral anymore. I am an Arsenal fan.
Welcome aboard!
Love it! Welcome mate
Welcome! We are by the far the greatest team the world has ever seen. The Arsenal!
Welcome to pain and joy

I just want to say that I appreciate the work you are putting into these videos, I can’t wait to watch them when I see a new upload. Thank you!

A jersey is a type of *knitted* shirt.
3:41 I would argue the Brighton goal was Gabi mistake, but he’s ofc more than made up for it
Gabriel’s passing has been very strong this season
I am happy with this upload. More than you believe.
Do you remember those Cazorla 60 yard switches with either foot?
They are absolutely rattled. You are not wrong. And I love it
Been waiting for this upload🙌
Alexander Isak would be the perfekt last puzzle to our amazing team

the first goal against Man City was a Gabriel mistake ..he was too deep ..played Halaand onside
Were 5th in switches despite the 2 redcard games.
Attackers will benefit more.
Alex, Arsenal are inevitable now. City, especially know this.
Love it. Welcome Back.
Why did you stare deep into my soul? It's just field tilt metrics. 😭😅
You talked about everything except our best player since the start of the season
TIMBER
kudos
Dude. Where tf have you been?
Thought u had quit mate
Postecoglou is the greatest coach ever.
I predicted Gabriel would finally get wider respect last season. I was wrong.
Finally a new video

i dont get it
I come to these channels to relax after hearing bs over other platforms such as talk sport and football terrace lol

Why did I have to watch it back twice 😂
I've been an Arsenal fan for 40 years. We've always been disliked. Usually, when we win. Don't know why, but it isn't new.
It doesn't help that sections of our fanbase are reactionary and have a nervous breakdown the moment some tiny incident goes against us.
That's not really true though; we've always heen disliked BY THE MEDIA, but typically been quite well liked amongst every day fans.

Big Gabi made a mistake against Villa when he lost the ball on the edge of our box, taking nothing away from him tho cos he’s been amazing

The reason big Gabi doesn't get more compliments is because people don't rate footballers who have got their hairline fixed. Name me one.
Erm, off the top of my head( arf arf)......Wayne Rooney...

yap, he made a mistake against villa
The more rattled rival clubs/supporters and the media are, the better for us. That's how we know we're doing something right this time. COYG

Gabriel made one mistake for the first Watkins’s miss .he’s been good though

Gabriel hqs been brilliant but he did almost cost us goals against wolves and Aston Villa
