@@iggy_pls1 So blizzard has to ask Liquid if it is convinient for them to nerf a boss? Not Echos fault or blizzards fault that liquid was not online when the nerf hit.
stay mad, Echo > Liquid by a mile, 3 races lost in a row now, even with big Liquid Steve $$$, 16 hour headstart, Echo had 100 tries less on Ras, nerfs didn't matter, ggs

To put that much time into a fight only to have Blizzard hand the win to another team while you slept is disheartening for sure.

They played worse than Echo, deserved loss that they are now trying to blame on nerf timing lmao

I hate how hateful people are with these honestly, like get off your high horse, and stop acting like you know it all. They played very well, and put in a lot of effort to get to where they were. In which yeah any sort of nerf is going to grant an advantage, regardless of whether it's liquid or echo that gets it first. It's just unfortunate that there isn't an effective way to release any sort of buffs or nerfs without directly impacting either team without literally pausing the race for both to make it even when they release the nerf. Truth be told I do wish blizzard would do proper internal testing of these end bosses given it's been a consistent issue of each time they released them in untested states. They have always been overtuned in some manner and meant nerfs were abundant during the race.
1 Year later and its still on my list... cant kill the bird lol.
I was so invested in this race while on holidays from work. Sad to think I'll miss the next race due to being back at work :(

They released it after Echo did, just like they killed the boss after Echo did.
