This season is one of the most exiting to predict I’ve ever seen. There are a LOT of teams that are title contenders atm, and several others that could be the surprise of the year and have a deep play off run
There really isnt if you analyze the rosters and what happened in the playoffs. There is one team in tier 1, Golden State. Tier 2 is packed with potential competitors, but none of them were really close to the Warriors. Tier 3 is pretty stout too, with tier 4 having only Sacramento and a few others
@@mattiarubio3240 which one of them do you have beating the warriors in a 7 game series? They were not challenged in any playoff series... all those team you named are in tier 2, trying to figure out how to beat the warriors tier. It's really not close tho, you can say they are contenders and put them in the same tier if you want, but it's not very accurate...
@@mattiarubio3240 also, take the clippers out of that list, they are the nets, a failed super team. Pg and kawhi have too much overlap. I'm skeptical about having Denver there too. Clippers probably wont make the playoffs this year and denver is likely to get bounced in round 1
For the Raptors, you have the right mindset, and of course, Scottie jumping to 20+ would help.. but I think the focus should be on their bench. The Raptors played their starters more than any other team. The lineup of VanVleet, Trent, Og, Scottie and Pascal, the two lowest scorers were Barnes at 15 and OG at 17.. you would think they would be one of the top scoring teams in the league, yet they weren't. That is because of how weak their bench was. So, to increase their scoring is a good goal, but it needs to start with productivity off their bench.
I’m so excited for the clippers this year to finally come out healthy again. We really have a good chance to take it all the way this year, high hopes for this John Wall signing
I feel like the Hornets will barley make the play in let alone the playoffs, they basically just lost their 2nd best player unless he can somehow come back
I have a video idea, every nba teams best playoff shot of all time, for example, Heat, 2013 finals game 6, Ray Allen corner 3 pointer, or Rockets 1995 semifinals game 7, Mario Elie Kiss of death, these are just examples
The only reason anyone “thought” Jabari smith was going to go number one is bc the magic had been saying it and they had number one. No other reason, he was not the number one prospect at all.
You clearly didn’t watch the Heat if you thought they pushed themselves to breaking for the 1 seed. They had health issues all season and got the 1 seed while resting key players.
All Brooklyn need is a new coach . I think Sean Marks safe but getting a new coach like Mark Jackson , a coach that would hold their players accountable would make them title contenders again
Great video as always, as a bulls fan tho I gotta say watching my team last year the only reason our 3 point % was one of the best in the league is because we took so few, I remember getting really frustrated watching the bulls jack up 3s that were never going in so I don’t think we need to take more, we got capable shooters don’t get me wrong but none of them is above average at 3 besides Levine possibly, what I think the bulls really need is dawgs, tough players such as dreymond, pat bev, pj tucker type players, it made me sick watching caruso get his wrist broken by Greyson and nobody step in to say anything, the bulls need a tougher identity something similar to “heat culture”
He only either needs another MVp or another FMVP to become the GOAT PG He doesn't really need both, but getting both will help him creep closer to top 5 all time
Okc goal”completely wrong lol. We got one more draft to get a possible blue chip prospect. Don’t have to pick wembanyama or even scoot to get a very very good player in this draft. And then the lottery portion of it can do anything regardless of where you end up I;the standings. Okc needs to get a top 6 pick preferably, but this draft as of now looks like if they can get top 8 with their own pick then they will be ready to go for the future
He was completely off most teams just like mine more pnr for the blazers what a joke lol that’s the reason we were so ass come time to playoffs we need internal dev and a good backup center not saying we winning a chip but pnr seriously also okc 2026 champs also another side note just curious don’t you think okc has too much picks and potential players to the point where it holds some back like at some point he’ll even rn if you wanted to you could probably trade for two superstars if available I feel like okc should just go all in sooner rather than later if that means a couple 2-4 years than wasting your picks? Just curious what a thunder fan thinks?
Warriors number 1 goal is to stay healthy and ready for the playoffs. don't make dray. klay and steph play all the games. Uses the young guys to get some wins and experience.
Nah, I say warrior's main goal is build the future. They lost big key role players in free agency, so I'm realistic and say conference finals at the least this coming season. But that young core of Poole, kuminga, wiseman, moody, Baldwin, DiVincenzo, looney, shit, even their two-way player Weatherspoon had a few games where he was on fire in the mid season last year. This core to dubs could easily be what khawi was to the spurs. That you don't piece needed to sustain success. They got the tools, some already showing the promising talent. A lot of em could be all stars by the time the OG core retires
I would try to get a trade off of Nesmith and Pritchard if I were the Celtics GM (They’re actually pretty good players but you can find better) and don’t go for Kevin Durant. I reckon maybe Brandon Ingram or Donovan Mitchell or even Ja Morant. Maybe a washed up Derrick Rose because he’s getting better, maybe Lonzo Ball or even Westbrick because as bad of a shot he is, he is a good passer with great Playmaking and Court vVsion and is a good option as backup Point-Guard. Put Derrick White as backup Shooting-Guard
who cares how many sixers blocks, bucks points, or the grizzlies record? theyre going to make the playoffs and are contenders when healthy. harden needs to play better, middleton needs to stay healthy, and ja needs to get better at defense and learn how to land after dunks
I'm not a Pelicans fan but it pisses me off that everyone gives Mcollum credit and don't blame him. Jonas Valanciunas and Brandon Ingram are good, underrated players but CJ is really overrated.
That clippers goal is awful. Health of course is most important but they cannot be having a goal of getting the 6 seed at least. That would be a massive failure of a regular season if this team is healthy. Would be a bad sign for the post season. Which I don’t think healthy there’s any chance that team would have a mediocre regular season and finish outside the top 3 while not trying to be the best regular season team (resting and load management, etc…)
Incorrect as long as they play well when PG and Kawhi both play they dont need to worry to much about the post season although I agree 6th might be a bit low the sole goal of the clippers should be to avoid the play in and stay healthy come playoff time
Charlotte has no chance to be a top 6. Atlanta and Detroit and New York and Cleveland are all better than Charlotte. The top four is the Bucks the Sixers Celtics and maybe Miami, which lost Tucker to the Sixers. Washington is also in the mix with the return of the Beal.
I think the celtics will always be pretenders as long as JT is their number 1 option. He was terrible in the conference finals and ppl let him off the hook for that cuz he was even worse in the finals. He isn't made for the big moments similar to chris paul and james harden
The spurs, warriors, and cavs each won the title after losing it the year before. It has happened a lot in basketball. Given the moves Boston has already made they are set to beat whoever can get through the west this year. I've got Memphis getting there. Memphis and Boston are both going on revenge tours. Ja will get mvp, not Mr chubby.
The word Revenge doesn't exist in Tatum's vocabulary. To want revenge you have to have heart, and Tatum doesn't have that. Jaylen Brown does tho. So if you were to say that Jaylen Brown & Marcus Smart were going on a revenge tour then I'd 100% believe you. Tatum is an invertebrate, no backbone, spineless. A single-celled organism, no heart. One of those heated coil stoves, no fire.
How can you say the celtics going after Durant is not the right way to go when the warriors did exactly that and still you said the warriors have nothing to prove. Be more consistent. The warriors deserves so much more hate for how they've won all 4 rings.
The warriors will always have something to prove, namely can they beat a healthy opponent, and without having unprecedented talent advantage. So far the answer is no. Next year it is boston's ring to lose. The warriors will get knocked out of the playoffs by the clippers.

Spoiler alert: about half the teams’ goal is to make the playoffs without needing the play-in tournament
To be fair, half the NBA right now is within striking distance (above or below) the play-in since it’s 4 spots big per conference

Maybe... if John Wall has 70% of the speed he used to have the NBA has a problem
Please bring back this video after the end of the next season and compare your suggestions with what actually happened.
