I heard steelheads fought hard. Seeing a lot of ultra light gear and 6lb line.

I prefer 8 lb mono...and a Penn skirted spool...9-10 foot rod ... spinning equipment...Had one on one year and 3 seconds she came out of the water rolled herself in all the limp line and snapped it 4 feet in the air! Ha ha !
