    Busy fixing up a Kragerø Terne sailboat from the '50s in Norway, with scots pine planking on oak frames. This is a wonderful help, thank you!

    Where on earth did you get white cedar that wide and clear? If that is white cedar.

      That planking is red cedar and I live in a rainforest full of it. One of these days when I am at the mill, I will get some shots of the massive beams and timbers being cut. Last time I was there, a 30 foot beam of yellow cedar was on the mill and it was at least 20 inches square and clear.
