The first yes (green cup) is a Saalt cup. Second yes is a Lumma disc (this is actually the thing that has worked for me as a beginner, I'd REALLY recommend it, esp with the string tucked in). The 50/50 in her hand is a Cora "perfect fit" disc (many people love it. Some people find the finger notch useless and would prefer they spent money on a different disc). The blue one in the same frame in the background is a Saalt disc size regular(similar notch style, similar reviews from people but this notch at least has some grip to it compared to Cora). I recently bought this one but I'm not sure if I hate it or I'm still learning with it (it's harder for me to fold with one hand and so my hand cramps up while trying to insert, and then I also have to bear down to get it out because I can't get the finger grip to work for me at all. But then I think the size might be a good diameter for me so still waiting to form a conclusive opinion). The "yes of course" is the Hello disc which this youtuber has designed herself in collaboration with the brand Hello. I've not used it but SO MANY PEOPLE LOVE IT is all I gotta say. And not at all just because it's got her name on it. Like it's a design that solves a lot if problems for people using reusable menstrual products. How do none of y’all understand that this audio isn’t actually her voice and is just a common, popular audio that a lot of ppl use?? It’s a trend that is insanely common.
Don't get anything that doesn't have a long string or a loop that you can put a finger through to get out. Because I really don't know why they think it's okay to attach that little tiny little piece of something that I'm supposed to be able to grab onto with the tips my finger slippery with blood
Hello! I know this video isn't about this, but I wanted to ask you something. Does a menstrual disc expose the blood to more oxygen than a cup since it doesn't suction? I'm about to try a disc for the first time and want to know as much as I can about it. Also tbh I got a little freaked out about TSS so this is coming a little bit from paranoia
@Bee It creates a more favourable environment for bacteria when there's exposure to oxygen AND carbon dioxide (idk what levels though). And the "period blood smell" comes from the blood being exposed to the air for a long period of time, which happens with pads, but not with cups apparently. So I was wondering about discs
tss is VERY rare and your chances of getting it with a tampon are WAY higher that with a cup or disc. so fear not.(ur chances are still VERY VERY VERY slim with a tampon just change it regularly. and for a disc or cup if you aren’t comfortable with doing a full 12 hours you can always take it out every 6-8 hours if that makes you more comfortable.)
I've used both disc and cups for years so I think my opinions of them both might really help you out. Disc's are very comfortable and easy to use. I like the fact that unlike menstrual cups you don't have to completely remove the disc to empty the contents out. All you have to do is slightly tug on the disc with your finger leaving a small gap for the blood to come out or push a little harder when you're emptying out your bladder while using the toilet. Menstrual cups are awesome too. Again extremely comfortable and easy to use. Unlike disc's, with menstrual cups you have to always make sure the cup is fully open by using your finger or fingers to fill around the cup bc if not, you without a doubt are going to have leaks and nobody wants that. I notice menstrual cups seem to stay in place for me all day whereas disc will naturally leak a little if my bladder or the disc is too full which I don't like. Also, if I'm very active or pushing on my uterine walls too hard, I noticed the disc tends to leak which again, I don't like. I can't stand when leaks happen bc who wants blood to be in their underwear or pants. I also, can go for long periods of time without emptying out the menstrual cup. 12 hours and more to be exact but I wouldn't go longer than 12 hours bc most companies don't recommend that as the risk for tss becomes higher the longer you leave it in for. But yeah just to give you an overall review. Menstrual cups are my favorite!!!! Bc .... they leak less, and I can leave them in for longer periods of time without emptying them. Again, 12 hours to be exact even on my heaviest days which usually are the first 2 to 3 days of when my period begins. Disc come second in my opinion bc they are easy to use. However, they do tend to leak more often depending on if my bladder is really full, I'm really active or the disc is too full of blood. I'll let you decide which one is best for you based off of the opinions and examples I gave. Like I said they see both pretty cool. Each one has its own pros and cons just depends on I guess your body type and the kind of lifestyle you live. If you live a very active life or work long periods of time like 8 plus more hours at work, I'd recommend the merula os cup bc it's extremely comfortable for most to all body types, easy to use, and can be left in for probably your whole shift as you more than likely won't fill the cup up all the way but again that depends on how much you bleed. I'd say my period is pretty moderate so I don't bleed to much or too little either. I'm kind of right there in the middle but I'd say the first couple days of my period are for sure HEAVY. I USED TO GO THROUGH tampons every couple of hours bc they couldnt really support the weight of my flow that well
I have a high cervix as well. I recently ordered a Lumma disc, size "High". That is the largest size they have and it works perfect for me! Tucks right behind my pubic bone which allows it to stay near the front for me to be able to reach it so conveniently. I have also tried the Diva cup large & the Enna cup medium. The Diva cup was way to big, too hard and was very difficult to pullt out because it would move way up and no way for me to reach it. The Enna cup was nice and made it mucb easier to slowly guide the cup back down to a point for me to grab the secure stem to pull out, but it was difficult to get it to initially open when insurted, and the suction from these cups make it so difficult to remove with a high cervix. I have been absolutely blown away my the Lumma disc. I tend to have a rather heavy flow and it's been in for hours with no leaks. I can't even feel it at all. I could feel the pressure from the cups and sometimes would make cramping worse. I am absolutely a disc girl from now on, screw suction cups! lol I hope I helped someone, but I know we are all built different. Give dsics a try if you have high cevrvix. I can actually reach it no prob! I'd like to try the Hello disc next, it looks very convenient and I may not actually need a string at all given where a disc naturally sits.
Weird question, I just got my period and I don’t know how to use that rubber cup thingy like the first thing you showed if anyone knows how to pls tell me
I started with a meluna cup at age 16! It's relatively small and the standard firmness worked well for me, but they also have softer and firmer. Would recommend as a starter cup, especially with the ring shaped stem which makes it super easy to grab to remove!
Ok but which one for a 30-something with ...erm... "small" bits, heavy periods, and endometriosis adhesions? I've never been successful with tampons, but - curiosity has me wondering avout the cups and discs. 😅🙈

Sorry but.......how does a MAN know about "mooncups" ? Unless he is a gynecologist. How did he use it ? 😂 I personally never used a mooncup....rather tampons/sanitary towels.
it’s bad for people with low cervixes- if you think about it and look at the product, if you have a low cervix, there is a chance it could suction right around it!
You're supposed to reuse it so in the long run it's way cheaper than single use period products??? They can last for up to 10 years. Also you could've been sore because you needed lube to insert it.
You could've gotten the wrong size or inserted it wrong, also discs are reusable so next time, try getting a different size after measuring your cervix and then try it out, hope this helps

I USED TO GO THROUGH tampons every couple of hours bc they couldnt really support the weight of my flow that well
How do we feel about flex cups and discs? I love both but prefer discs
Have you tried the honey pot
How come a no on the pixie cup?
I think it might be a generic/copy cat brand.
@@girlgreenivy Oh most definitely. And they change their cup designs all the time based on the newest copycat designs
I’d also check the 1 star reviews for another reason. Some ppl are def not ok with mixing these two things 🤷🏼♀️
@@PeriodNirvana Whoa a Bible verse engraved in the cup :O
Why is the Phia cup impractical? What cup & disk would you recommend for high cervix?
I was confused, like "do you even use these?" 😅
Trans masculine people can have periods fyi
@@forest_green ok
it's a popular audio, not OP's actual voice
What about Flex discs?
Weird question, I just got my period and I don’t know how to use that rubber cup thingy like the first thing you showed if anyone knows how to pls tell me
GUYS ITS A SOUND IM ASSUMING THE PERSON THAT FILMED THIS IS NOT A MAN
I love my Lumma cups.
Is the diva cup good?
I've used it for five years so... yes. It's a cup that works well for most people.
What's the brand that's in a different language?
Best products for teens/young adults?
I am 19 and I love the saalt soft small
I started with a meluna cup at age 16! It's relatively small and the standard firmness worked well for me, but they also have softer and firmer. Would recommend as a starter cup, especially with the ring shaped stem which makes it super easy to grab to remove!
I tried shoving the cup up in my 🐱 while having stomach cramp and a 🐱 cramp…. Worse pain ever 😭
You have the Bamboozy cup there, yes or no?!
just curious. Is there a reason not your own voice this time or just for funsies?
It’s using another audio sound clip. And also I lost my voice so that was a way to make a video lol
@@PeriodNirvana hey creative problem solving! Pretty cool. It's also a nice way to be more inclusive.
How'd they fit?😢
When I heard a guy's voice,I wondered where he's putting them in...
12:09 Areeb Bhai ne checking ki car se bahir nikle
I love pads
If you're strictly talking about designs then sure, femmycycle looks weird but it's hands down the only cup I trust
Reasons to why not?
Ok but which one for a 30-something with ...erm... "small" bits, heavy periods, and endometriosis adhesions? I've never been successful with tampons, but - curiosity has me wondering avout the cups and discs. 😅🙈
As a 11 year old who has her period.. tbh they look scary 😭👍🏼but its ur body and choice 🙃🩷
FUCKING HATE DIVA CUPS! WHY ARE THEY EVERYWHERE. i lost my m. cup and bought one as a temporary replacement.. i could see people never trying again after that what a god awful experience.
which one would you reccomend...
Is that a voice filter orr..?
I think it's just an audio clip that people repurpose for rating stuff, I've heard it before in other contexts
What about Talisi brand
UHHHH HOW DOES THAT GO IN YOU HOW THAT SHIT MUST HURT IF YOU HAVE NEVER DONE “IT”
Why not Pixie?
The male voice over 😂😅 I was like, oh no the men are bleeding too 😂😂😂😂😂 somebody get him a doctor
Uhhh ok 😮
You have used these personally?
yep
she has videos on all of them!
I’ve tried over 65 brands total so yeah
@@PeriodNirvana why with the hostile reply? I just asked!
@@PeriodNirvana so yeah
how tf do you use those
What is that is it for beer
?
I was about to ask if he’s a random design PR person or if he’s trans.
Bbepy es lo mejor que me ha pasado no se porque dice que no pero bueno 🧐
Does this dude use the cups that he judges?
It's just a voice over a bunch of people use, the man isn't the one actually judging the cups
I'm guessing the "I hate these" is off something like Alliexpress.
is it ok for like 15 year olds to use m-cups
I completely disagree with you on the femy cycle. It is my favorite cup
What is this for
Wait but it doesn't matter because you won't use it ... men don't have periods
It's a damn voiceovertt
Sorry but.......how does a MAN know about "mooncups" ? Unless he is a gynecologist. How did he use it ? 😂 I personally never used a mooncup....rather tampons/sanitary towels.
It's a girl it's just a voice-over
It’s weird hearing this from what sounds like a male voice. Why would a man care. I know it’s just a voice over but still.
Who is what .?
I wonder why femmycycle is in it
In the past she's said she has an issue with it suctioning the cervix.
it’s bad for people with low cervixes- if you think about it and look at the product, if you have a low cervix, there is a chance it could suction right around it!
Oh it's a voice over. I'm sitting here like,
"Sir, WHERE TF are you putting these?"
Don't get why you would have a opinion if your a guy you wouldn't know crap about having a period
it's a voiceover thingg the recorder isn't a guy
What is this
How many periods have you had 😂
Why is a man rating period products? How is this useful?
Men need to mind their own Business they are so annoying
I hate the Salt Cup
I was sore for days after using it 😭😭😭
Also, the cost 😤😤😤
Especially I have had to throw it out.
You're supposed to reuse it so in the long run it's way cheaper than single use period products??? They can last for up to 10 years. Also you could've been sore because you needed lube to insert it.
Really? I had a great experience with them. Maybe you accidentally got the wrong size?
@@us3rno7f0und same
You could've gotten the wrong size or inserted it wrong, also discs are reusable so next time, try getting a different size after measuring your cervix and then try it out, hope this helps
Throwing it out was probably on account of it hurting, not the assumption it was meant to be single-use
How come a male is voicing this?
Could possibly be a transgender man who still has periods.
It’s a popular sound but trans men do exist
The channel is from a girl, I think she just used the audio from other video (?)
Umm this needs to be a woman
Ein Mann kann das doch gar nicht beurteilen oder?
Why is a man talking about period products????????????
And the fact that he used the products and is giving his feedback 😳
