- In this video you can see a newsreel from the Russian State Documentary Film & Photo Archive at Krasnogorsk (RGAKFD). This newsreel stamped those moments when the Russian Emperor Nicholas II together with his Family attends the divine services, kisses reverently the cross and the icons, blesses his troops, makes the sign of the cross, participates in the sacred processions and converses with the religious leaders.
Soundtrack: 1) Song «Tsar Nicholas» (written and composed by Gennady Ponomarev; sung by the famous Russian singer Zhanna Bichevskaya in 1999); 2) Fragment of the national anthem of the Russian Empire «God Save the Tsar» (another name: «The Prayer of Russians»; written by Vasily Zhukovsky in 1814, sung by Zhanna Bichevskaya).

@@gninja92 Slowly things we’re getting better and better. We had a house and cattle(my ancestors were all peasants), the communists took it away... More people died during the civil war than during ww2 in Russia. The people were working and slowly saving up money. My great grandfather was a mechanic(we were blessed, got free before the abolishment of serfdom). People who were working from sunrise till sunset had their own houses and cattle. Lenin’s father was a school headmaster and had many children (5/6?). His wife didn’t work. Thanks to his wage he gave good (free!!) education to all his children. Life was bad, eh?
@@gninja92 many project the communists carried on had been already planned in the Russian Empire. The Tran Siberian railway was a project made in the Russian Empire. The difference is that the Sowjets made it real quite quickly( forced prisoners work and die there...stalin didn’t value people at all). What makes you think the Russian Empire wouldn’t have been able to send the first sputnik later on? Ridiculous.

Famine 1921-22, 1932, then 1944-46( we were weak after the civil war and then stalin made a mistake believing the nazi Germany and we were not prepared at all)??? No famine after that? Oh, don’t forget the GREAT famine 1918....they took away our cattle, my poor great great grandmother had to plow the “people’s” land instead of a cow...on her back... It’s heartbreaking to think what happened to the Imperial family. 🥹 Any of the imperial family members, the Tzar, his Tzarina, daughters and the son didn’t deserve this. 🥹 i am from Ceylon (now Sri Lanka). He has visited Ceylon in 1891 before he becomes the Tzar. He was known to be a humble person with good manners.

You'll will obtain a deeper understanding and appreciation of the Rus as a people and the value of Russian Orthodoxy and the Tsar's God-annointed autocracy. I swear, halfway through the novel, I wanted to go back in time and fall at Emperor Peter's feet in supreme admiration for who he was and what he tried to achieve for his people. GOD SAVE THE TSAR!!!
Peter may have been a cool dude but the idea that God made anyone a king was used to justify the suffering of the masses for centuries

Очень хотелось бы, чтобы, рассматривая видео ряд, люди смогли услышать слова песни! К сожалению, до сих пор очень немногие осознали, кем является для России Царь Николай! Продолжаются надругательства над святыми мучениками, чему способствует МП. Народ, называющий себя православным, не почитает Царя. Сталинская церковь все для этого сделала, чтобы предотвратить народное покаяние в том, что приняли сатанинскую власть. И теперь, обманутые, и запутанные русские люди, превращенные в советских, не могут даже представить себе, за что они имеют такую жалкую жизнь!

For the innocent Russians in villages and towns and rightly so, the Czar Nicholas Emperor was number three after God and Christ. He and his children made no attempt to flee the country after October deviloution (the devil inspired so called filthy revolution).
As usual the British King his mirror image cousin could not gather enough strength with the British PM to get him and his family safely back in Britain while they had plenty of time and things were easy and task not impossible. The efforts came too late at a time when his safe escape became impossible. Czar too as he was a simple gentleman went easy with his life in captivity at Yekaterinberg and paid no attention to escape. All hell went loose and the martyrdom of Czars brought misery all over Europe.
So sad, really.

Yes, Tsar Nicholas II wasn't a great leader because he didn't have enough time to prepare for the Russian Imperial throne because his father, Tsar Alexander III, died suddenly from kidney disease when he was pretty young, but he was a very loving father and a kindly man. His wife, Tsarina Alexandra Feodorovna, suffered from depression because she lost both her mother and her younger sister/best friend, May, at a very young age. People thought she was cold, with no feelings, because of her depression.

What happened to the Tsar was indeed tragic, but he wasn't blameless. The peasants did not want WW1, nor could they stand the vast wealth inequality that the royal family enjoyed while people starved.
And most important of all, Nicholas would have never managed to beat Hitler ...
The Soviets did not have to kill the Tsar or his family. But Nick brought it on himself by stroking the anger of the people and his country suffered for his insistence that there be no social nor democratic reforms
