I'am brazilian and I work with metric system, but I need to learn how use inches and feet because now I live in US. This video is helping me a lot! Thank you!
Thank you very much for showing the dimensions, I am an Architectural Technology student in Canada, you have been of great help to me in my assignments, you have been of great help to me, CAD CAM Tutorials is the best AutoCad site on the internet, much appreciated your assistance, thank you !
Sir In AutoCAD 2020,2006 When I draw line of 4/5 inch and dimension it it appears 0.8000 in decimal but in fractional it appears 13/16 which is not equal to 4/5. I have tried every dim style setting. but can not solve.
i have imported GA drawing PDF to DWG by IMPORT function and then I have scale that GA as per corresponding PDF by both ALIGN and SCALE function but i can not get precision of 4 decimal points. for Example If PDF shows dimensions 1.8750, but I have got 1.8761. So this is one problem. Second problem is If I give reference to any dimension by ALIGN or SCALE function, I get only that dimension with precision of 4 decimals. for example I get 1.8750, If reference is 1.8750. But all other dimensions of GA do not come with 4 decimals precision. I am working with Inches unit. Please help me.

6'4-1/2"
Thank you for this!

Thank you! ON AutoCAD Mechanical 2018 the menu is slightly different, just have to select the arrow under annotate and bring up the menu.
How 34cm becomes 2feet 10inches .?
It is 34 inches and not 34cm.
how do you bring up the menu?
Thanks a lot 🙏

Why is that an Indian voice I hear for this? I thought India uses metric. Or am I wrong and you Indians use Imperial or both?
Either way, thanks for the tutorial.
