Mine have those cracks. I think it's fairly common. I have 2 of the Trompo Grande and one Trompo Bearing. Great tops. If you want a quality top, these are really good. They will take one hell of a beating!
its a toy thats been produced world wide. much like the yoyo you cant really trace it back to its exact origins. i am a big fan of mexican style trompos btw.
I played a bearing top for the first time and I’m never going back to fixed… it’s a whole nother experience. Love the channel btw you should make spin top content more often

So far I've only used some tops that I've made on a lathe. I just ordered this though, I can't wait!
