  • Gold Rush is built by Gerstlauer Rides. The type is Infinity Coaster.
It features a triple launch that propels the train to a top speed of 90km/h. The highest point of the ride is 33 meters. The track length is 400 meters and features 2 track inversions, the first being a sidewinder the park calls a “Sling Loop”, the second being a dive loop. Though depending on you position in the train, the dive loop will also invert you at the start of the ride, after the backwards launch.
During the course of the day I’ve gotten to ride Gold Rush multiple times and it’s a lot of fun! The launches, though not very intense, are quite fun going back and forth and picking up more and more speed. In the back of the train you get a great moment of hangtime in the dive loop after the second (backwards) launch. In the front row, especially in the left seat, you get a great push and twist at the top of the tophat after the third launch. Then there’s the first big drop, providing strong airtime, especially in the back. Going through the sidewinder/sling loop you get some quite good positive g-forces, followed by some good strong airtime going over the station. Then there’s a nice and speedy turn, before taking a really fast twist into the dive loop. Once again in the front-left seat, you get a great push into that twist. On the right side of the train you really get dragged around the outside of that twist.
All in all, front or back or left or right side of the train provides some quite different sensations. This and the good and fun layout and comfortable trains make Gold Rush a great fun and very re-ridable coaster! Great job to Slagharen and Gerstlauer!

Bij ons flipte een personeelslid omdat wij het station filmden. 😂

Haha, waar sommigen zich al niet druk om maken. xD
Ik heb gelukkig nergens last van gehad. :)
