Two solo knit bands and problem solved. Top one small size and back one medium was perfect. Even weight distribution works wonders. Comfortable sucked at first but with some homework you’ll love your AVP after you get the right fit and comfort.
@@sweetsteven217 i do like the idea as the solo knit band is very comfortable and the material is very breathable but it just looks a bit… silly without sounds rude. If Apple made a narrow version, specifically for the top. I would buy it.
@@AVisionexperiment I thought that too but when it’s wide it’s more comfortable rather than use the one Apple gave us. After a while it puts too much pressure on two spots on our heads. I love that you can loosen when taking it off and putting it back on easily. Apple got that right.
@@Marcus8infinite you do know it’s a unboxing…. It’s in the title. OMG…No one said you can’t scrub if you just want to see the strap out of the box faster.
Ive been using the solo loop band and it works just fine for me, i think people need to really get correct fitting. I understand the pressure on the cheek bones etc, and ive found if you have the band at the back of your head its actually balances out and you dont get that weight on your cheekbones, but you need to make sure its correctly fitted. In the end everyone is different and will have to do what works for yourself. Ive literally just watched 2 hours worth of content and only took it off to recharge the battery... ☺
I agree good fitting is important and tolerances are different from person to person, I can wear it for quite a while with no accessories but I notice the support when I add a top strap because it’s not natural to have weight very front heavy on your head, even if it’s not a lot of weight.
@@VisionProforNerds so far I’m finding myself use it a lot without the light seal for editing and having a more open experience . I will have a 1 month review coming soon for more detail about its pros and cons. Thank you for watching 🫶
Fantastic!! Love ur review:) how has it felt since then?? Also.. I experimented with removing the light seal and literally resting the headset on my nose.. although the hardness of the device was obviously not great.. I have to say that it felt WAY more comfortable than the pressure that the light seal puts on my face!! I feel that if a company or apple made a comfortable nose piece for this device it would do really well. Also not having the light seal for AR was game changing.. not only was fov better but I didn’t feel disconnected from the real world any more!!! Would love a light seal that doesn’t second as an anchor to ur face.. ( similar to psvr2).. and have the headset rest on ur nose.. for more immersive content!!! Give it a go .. would love ur thoughts!!!
@@richiebranco Thanks for sharing your experience! It's early days for this first-generation product, but it's exceptional in many ways. Apple has aimed high and is trying to start a new platform in their ecosystem. I agree that creating a Vision Air or Plus at a lower cost, while maintaining the features that make it great, would be a smart move for Apple. Looking forward to seeing how this evolves!
@@asianprince24 thank you, much appreciated, this was my first impressions but I will be giving you my review and full opinion on the strap next month after using it for a while. Stay tuned and subscribe 🙌
@@komplicatedsam6332 great question and I would say I have two different uses for each. Spigen is for watching media while keeping the light seal on in immersive spaces or editing in immersive spaces. Annapro has become my main strap for no light seal use and when I want to do long edit sessions in mixed reality to keep my peripheral vision visible.
That’s a good question. I would say there are times when having the virtual environment switched on helps with focus so I need the light seal but I did briefly try without the seal and I was nice to see my real surroundings and takes the pressure off my face.
@@thedepartment8391 the one thing that is a advantage is Apple likely have the most third party accessory providers out of all the tech companies so it won’t be long before you might have more options. I guess you can send as many measurements as possible but it’s a personal opinion if it’s comfortable. I need top support for long wears and that’s a shame I need it as the look without a top strap looks so clean. I hope you find a solution. Soon I hope to offer a giveaway for some Annapros. I send all my face, eyes measurements. Pay $3500 then still have comfortability issues 😂😂. It's funny but somehow not pleasing.
