Brean Stages Rally 2015 - Day 1

10 Years ago, Andy Ballantyne and myself were asked if we could film and edit and produce a DVD for Round 1 of the 2015 ASWMC Rally Championship, the much missed Brean Stages Rally. It seems fitting to release the complete DVD Production (Day 1 and 2) 10 years on for us all to remember the great event.
Sadly Music Tracks have had to be removed as they infringe copyright, but the pure noise and Andy Ballantyne's commentary remain.

On its 19th Year of running, more than 100 crews started the 2015 event. Crowds flocked to see the 12 stages (6 per day) that totalled 52 miles of high speed action around the narrow roads of the caravan park.
Heading the field would be the husband and wife crew of Steve & Yvonne Furzeland looking for their hat-trick of wins.
They would be chased by Carnforth's Arron Newby in his Teg Sport Subaru along with Somerset's Martyn England and Mike Thelfall in their Mitsubushi Evo Xs
The 2WD battle would also be one of the closest with Jim Munden, Josh Payton and Dave Parnel battling it out in their crowd pleasing Ford Escorts!
10 Years on and I'm now competing as both a driver and co-driver. Who'd have thought it, always wanted to compete at Brean... hopefully another event this year as my stage rally driving Debut.
