I enjoy your video's greatly. I appreciate the high level of detail to each project which includes the needle size, thread weight used, the stabilizers use and placement requirements.
Hi! We do recommend using terry cloth towels, so you can get the "embossed" effect. If you have any questions, please feel free to email our customer service team. Support@emblibrary.com
Hello, these towels were purchased a while back, but we usually find ours at sources like Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, Home Goods, TJ Maxx, and online sources such as Amazon. Thanks!
Hi Kerry, I would not recommend using tear-away stabilizer, as it will not support the embroidery. As the needle penetrates the stabilizer during stitches, it wears it down and pokes larger and larger holes in it. Medium-weight cutaway stabilizer provides the best results.
Really surprised you used cut-away backing. I probably would have gone with two layers of tear away for a cleaner finished look on the back.

Excellent tutorial. I enjoyed it. Willing to try some embossed towels soon.
Great instructions - anxious to try this and give as a gift .
Great tutorial. Can't wait to make these.
Love it! Where do you get the pink flamingo
beautiful to make from Christmas gifts
Is there a stabilizer that can be used on the back that will come off? If I have a towel or a blanket, I don't think I want stabilizer left on it.

Does it matter how thick the towel is?

I'm having trouble finding towels that don't have the band a couple of inches up. Where can I find towels like the ones in the video?

Can you use tear away stabilizer. I don't want that to show on the back?
